In all honesty I don't really need it. I imagine most of the games aren't gonna be anything I really want. If I wanna replay FF7 I'd rather play it on PC/PS4/Mobile/Switch with the quality of life upgrades than original FF7. God knows I won't go 5 minutes in Wild Arms. With only 20 games I'm curious as to what else they'll add to it, but overall I'm keeping my expectations low. My biggest hope is for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. I own a copy on Xbox 360 but I don't want to bust that old fucker out. It's probably dead anyway. Though if it has that and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 then I'm ALL FUCKING IN!
THPS2 was my jam as a kid. Spent hours on it playing multiplayer with friends and listening to the bitchin' soundtrack. Every release after that didn't hold my attention quite as much. Maybe THUG/2 with its larger level editor where I proceeded to make literal realistic streets instead of functional skating levels.
The real reason I want it is mostly to display it next to my NES and SNES classic. I like having little working versions of consoles that are official products. All those AtGame Sega ones can kiss my fucking ass, though. As much as I loved Genesis back in the day those AtGame mini consoles can fuck off to hell before I even think of slapping any sort of money down for one. I pray that one day Sega makes a proper one, but I'm not holding my breathe. Sega doesn't give a shit and hasn't for years. Or worse, they'll release one and it won't have Sonic the Hedgehog 3/Knuckles.
