Mentioned this on Twitter, but I forget if I mentioned it here. I ordered a print version of the comic end of last week, and it came in today! http://imgur.com/a/6yCcO This was a test print just to check how it'd look in print resolution wise (I didn't change the RGB images to CMYK, so the colors are a little off). Overall the print quality is nice. I like the paper and it being a 8 x 8 inch book it's a nice size. However, I must have fucked something up as some of the lines seem a tad iffy. But hey, that was the point of this print run. Learn from my mistakes. Bodysuit 1 is fucked either way, though. No way to make that one look good. However, there's a really big issue regarding it that I think is a bigger deal overall: cost. At 42 pages, it cost $9.40. Adding the $3.41 shipping, the total was $13.71. The book only had Bodysuit 1-35, or through the end of the origin story. No extras or anything. If I were to print a book, I'd like to have more art and maybe a word from the author and other little book only coolness, but that'd bring up the price even more. Along with that, I'd prefer it if the book contained all the strips up to when this current arc ends, which is still a little ways away. That's gonna triple the price or more, and that's if I have a markup of $0. What that means is for every copy that is sold, I'd make $0. That'd suck. There's a few options I could do. 1. Have the physical copy have less content to make each individual book cheaper. 2. Put a year's worth of content in it, making the book overall more expensive but all in one book instead of two. 3. Buy in bulk and you buy directly from me, but once they're gone they're most likely gone unless enough people ask to purchase it. 4. Fuck it and don't bother.
