I, for one, am off to a bad start. I bought tickets to a concert a few months back, thinking it'd be next saturday, but turns out it's actually for tomorrow. I haven't put down vacation time at work, and you can't do it over the phone, so I went "I know! I'll just drive over there!" Thankfully, there was absolutely no traffic!
Or anyone in the parking lot! Place was closed.
"Well shit," I said as I drove to the gas station. "Now they're gonna take it out of my unpaid time off (UPT)."
So I get to the gas station and get out to fill up the gas tank since I just wasted a bunch to get there in the first place. But the pump I parked at was shut down, so I had to drive over to another.
And then a twelve foot tall bunny came up and shot a egg from its asshole and egged my car. Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come for the year.

Happy New Year! I like to believe that there is only a certain amount of bad luck one can have per year, so you might be safe for some time :)
