However, the screen we use to look at the order we're packing tells us exactly what it is. Not only that, half of their shipment of adult sex toys don't even bother. What's the point then?

The shippers need to know so they ship the correct order. But no one on the path between the shipper and the customer needs to know unless it becomes a hazard.
