There may or may not be a delay tomorrow? I don't know yet? Depends if Cooper is still awake when I get home from work tomorrow and finish the rough. The downside of living on different sides of the Atlantic. That picture for the blog post is a sneak peak of the next page. Also really hoping you guys like this chapter and
the next. We're going into MOTHER FUCKING PLOT UP IN THIS BITCH! AND THE BIGGEST QUESTION EVERYONE HAS BEEN ASKING SINCE THE EARLY DAYS OF THE COMIC WILL BE REVEALED! "What ever happened with that fire at the gas station?"
Apartment news!
For whatever reason the apartment isn't getting the faxes from my workplace from earlier this week. I had them resend it, but the apartment still didn't get it, so I'm gonna scan it and email it or just fucking drive over there with the documents during lunch or something.
So! Let's talk positive talk!
Really enjoying my new job. All those classes for Adobe Illustrator have finally paid off! Also, they're going through a seasonal slow period right now, which means I'm not learning everything while being swamped with work. This results in me having some free time. Sad part is I can't work on the comic for obvious reasons during this time because, let's be honest, I'm not gonna tell my new coworkers (who are ALL baby boomers, in Texas) that I draw a webcomic about some doofus who puts on the skin of a girl and goes on stupid (sometimes sexy) adventures.
At the same time, I REALLY hate sitting there at my desk browsing reddit, especially since I just got hired. Don't want to start my career looking like some lazy butt. Luckily, they have OpenOffice Writer on their computers, so I went "You know what? I've gotten jack shit done in Magical Girl Dallas for a long ass time. I should work on that."
So I did.
And wrote 8911 words in 3 days, finishing the first draft of Episode 3. Then I went over that chunk of text for a run through and now waiting for a friend to look over it, fix story problems, edit that, edit it again, and then I'll probably ask anyone here interested in giving it a read through for feedback.
As for the visual novel, my thought process has been "What have I gotten myself into." I still plan to work on it, but the comic comes first, especially since I decided to go back and do the comic properly again. I won't promise it'll be out any time soon like I had initially said because, as you all know, I'm fucking awful when it comes to working on too many things at once. And as always, I apologize for my ineptitude and thank you for sticking around!
