Last night after I posted that pixelated drawing to Cooper, he mentioned that CSP is not suited to draw 1 pixel width lines and recommended me to use SAI instead. One of the issues I was running into with CSP was the ugliness of the lines, which apparently SAI's programming knows not to fuck up or something? I dunno. I don't know how these art programs work.
Along with that, I learned there's a sprite program called aseprite that helps simulate the color restrictions for various computers/consoles. At some point in the near future I seriously need to experiment with it, as I think it'd be really cool to try to make a fun little visual novel with a PC-98 look to it. Won't be for a good while, of course.
