Finally get a chance to update Jade's design. Never quite liked how she turned out in her debut, so this is a nice chance to get to do a redo.

Once thing that's very beneficial to have when coming up with stories is having other people to look over them and give feedback. Cooper is very helpful when it comes to help keeping me in check in the story department outside of just having to re-explain how I fucked up on the art for the billionth time.

Whenever I come up with stories or write, I have this bad tendency to start making things get serious, or take a dark direction. One example easily seen is Magical Girl Dallas, which is what happens when the person editing enjoys that sort of thing. Problem is that approach can't work for everything, especially a goofy comic like Bodysuit 23. I bring this up because the original draft for this upcoming chapter had the end take a dark turn, only for Cooper and some of the others in the $20 tier comment that tonally it didn't work.

So instead I wound up coming up with something that pretty much jettisons this one concept I had for the story because I think the execution will be amusing. Sure, it throws a wrench into some other ideas I had, but you gotta keep things loose in an ongoing story like this. Have plot points you'd like to reach in the future, but don't be afraid to stray the path, or even abandon it altogether for something different. Who knows! It might work out better in the end!

Or fuck yourself into a corner like Magical Girl Dallas.
