As for the background, yes, it would be nice, although I like it even in this version ... Yes, this definitely a good practice for you.

2021-01-17 10:30:09 +0000 UTCBackgrounds are a pain. Particularly if they aren't relevant to the main illustration. Doing something simple that compliments the illustration's colour scheme is a great way to make it pop.
