Added 2018-11-12 08:01:40 +0000 UTCThe Pokemon Sun and Moon anime came out on DVD, so I went out and picked it up. Now, I haven't been following the anime since Johto. I also never finished Sun and Moon on 3DS. But the aesthetics/animation for the new anime really catches my eye. It's a hell of a lot less stiff than previous series, which allows for more fluid movement and actions that wouldn't have worked well. I know there were people who got up in arms about Ash's redesign, but honestly I like it. He looks like a goofy kid, which works for the scenario. We all know he's not gonna progress at all as a trainer anyway, as that defeats the purpose of the series.
