Added 2019-01-24 09:00:01 +0000 UTCFor the past two weeks I've been stuck in a writer's hell in regards to MGD episode 6. The beginning was smooth sailing for the most part, but afterward I right into a wall. It really annoys the hell out of me as I typically like to write in sequential order vs. writing various scenes and then stitching them together. It makes it easier for me as sometimes as I write I think of new ideas for story progression and if I write stuff that happens later beforehand there's a good chance I'll wind up having to throw it all away.
However, late into work yesterday I finally caved in and decided to skip ahead for the sake of getting stuff done. There's a huge chunk of story where the earlier stuff doesn't necessarily impact it yet, so I figured I'll write all that out up until where the points in the story converge, then go back and try to rework the section I'm struggling. Hopefully by the time I have that all finished I'll have figured out how to climb that stupid ass writer's block.

It's cool how the viewpoint is changing between the panels. The blue sky, the birds and the serious conversation reminds me of some good anime movies.

2019-01-24 16:25:39 +0000 UTCI often find writing other things helps me get unstuck. If for no other reason than it takes my mind off where I'm stuck and reminds me that yes, I can still write regardless.
