Went and saw the first Made In Abyss film a little while ago. That anime was one of my favorites from 2017 and I've been wanting to revisit it, so going to see the movie version was a good excuse to do it. I really love the concept and world the story shows. It gives a real sense of adventure and intrigue that I hope I can replicate half as much in this novel I wanna write after I get done with MGD.
There was some preshow behind the scene stuff apparently, but I wouldn't know because AMC fucked up and didn't actually get the project up and going until 20 minutes after it was suppose to start, so I got to jump in with the Fathom Events dude is like "okay here's your movie now!" It probably wasn't all that great, but I still hate missing shit like that. It also irks me that this is the second time in a row that that AMC fucked something up when I went to see a movie. Last time when I saw Pancreas they left the light on as the movie played, prompting me to go out and get a staffer to tell the manager to turn the lights off. Honestly I don't like going to that particular theater anyway but it's the one that consistently plays the fathom event anime showings. It's in a super nice mall and has high ticket prices, but it doesn't have the reclining seats that you typically see at AMC theaters these days. Doesn't feel like it warrants the higher ticket prices.
Oh well. Made In Abyss is still awesome. Can't wait for season 2.
