Originally there was gonna be one more page after this one that would've been a gag to kill the tension, as I typically do. However, after a few weeks of thinking and leaving that bit of the script blank, I couldn't come up with anything good that would work in the confines of one panel. There were some things that worked if I expanded on them and made a few pages long, so I decided to end the chapter here and spin off the end of the chapter into a couple page short that I'll do later on.

Throughout this chapter as I was drawing, I kept feeling frustrated with the art. I feel like I hit a barrier that won't let me pull off things I want to do. Take this page for instance: on panel 4 Jade's face isn't really drawing in perspective because I couldn't pull it off. Instead it looks more like I drew the face as usual, then squashed it down to sorta get what I wanted but not really. Of course I didn't go about it in that manner, but the results are identical all the same.

Because of this the comic is going to take a two week break for starting up again. During that time I'll do pinups as I've done in the past. I'll throw up a poll soon to determine the order of who gets a pinup when (if at all). These will be posted during the usual time.

Now, in case it isn't obvious already, I'm a lazy motherfucker. Plenty of times I tell myself I need to sit down and draw/do studies/practice/etc. and I wind up browsing Reddit or some shit. And now it's catching up to me in regards to the art quality. It isn't fair to you guys that I've been slacking. To remedy this somewhat, I'm going to go about forcing myself to do some studies and practice the same way I went about getting myself to lose weight: public scrutiny.

For the next two weeks on Monday through Friday, I'm going to do a patreon exclusive stream where I'll be doing drawing exercises and practice. During those times I'll pop in a movie or a couple episodes of an anime and force myself to draw until they're over. Each stream will last roughly between an hour and a half to two hours, give or take on the length of whatever it is I decide to put on to act as a "timer."

Because I'll be going for two weeks I'm gonna plop the money down for a month of Picarto premium. This way the streams will be set to private and only you guys will be able to access it. Not only that, but Picarto will save the stream for anyone who wants to watch it but are unable to do so when I'm live.

Aim is to have them start around 6 PM CST, though on Tuesday next week I'll be going to see a movie I already bought a ticket for, so that one will be later in the night.
