The Spectre Case Files - Wolfman 001
Added 2020-07-01 10:00:00 +0000 UTCFor our next case file, we are introduced to Gabriel "Gabe" Rodriguez. A young urban explorer and street artist with an ability to turn into a wolf-man. His backstory is one that is marked with tragedy after a terrifying encounter with a supernatural being in the Pacific Northwest.
Gabe originally never meant to be a werewolf character and was suppose to be a younger sidekick for Alex. He was at first based on Dick Grayson aka Robin. However, his older and later incarnations, he became the 'muscle' for Alex and his personality were based on Dr. Watson's persona in Shelock Holmes, and Abe Sapien's character in Hellboy.
But that was also scrapped and I just end up having him as an introverted young adult (still a werewolf), riddled with anxiety and a mild coffee addiction - which is an opposite of Alex's extrovert persona and curious nature.
His relationship with Alex is mostly platonic at first which eventually progresses into a full-fledged bromance. The two of them later lived together as housemates in an apartment above an oddities store - but that's another story for another day.

2020-07-04 18:07:14 +0000 UTCI grew up in a place without snow, only moving to snow country later. So the way you captured the grey light, still air and silence of falling snow is first rate. And I love that his history is written all over his body in the battle scars. Also, butt also.
