035 - Smoke & Ruin
Added 2020-11-23 16:00:04 +0000 UTCAs the duel escalates, Faun was wounded by the Lich's blade and fell onto his knees in pain. The Lich raised its weapon over the Faun's head, ready for the killing blow. Owl Mage and Doggo rush to Faun's aid but were thrown back by the Lich's dark flames. Faun sees an opening, a moment of weakness, and with one final push through his pain and exhaustion, he plunged his sword right into the black armor of the Lich, the blade snaps off and remained lodged in the evil creature's heart - or where its heart should be.
The Lich screeched with an unearthly cry that echoed throughout the valley, and its spirit exploded into a ball of fiery green flames, leaving behind a smoldering suit of armor. Then everything went dark for Faun.

tbh I always wanted to draw this scene. I knew at some point, Faun will be injured to show that the boys can be vulnerable at times in the face of danger.
