Just about done with this year's multi page suiting up sequence. It's a nice way to see how much I've changed as an artist over the course of the year, since it's been roughly a year since the Kevin fanservice chapter.

Also a great way to fucking hate how far I want to be as an artist, but yadda yadda self loathing. Let's skip that.

Another night where I don't have much to talk about again, so I'll just randomly type shit that comes to mind as I sit here.

Currently the inside of my apartment smells like someone burnt something on the stove. I've mentioned it several times in the past, but my kitchen's vent is connected to my neighbors, so I get to smell all their shit while they get to smell mine. On the plus side the neighbors I've had in the past year aren't smoking weed and cigars inside like the previous tenant. They do it out on the patio.

That Tezuka Cleopatra movie was uploaded onto youtube with spanish subs. Been wanting to watch that because the first few minutes uses a cross between live action and animation, where the bodies of the people are live action and the faces are anime. Bizarre looking shit. Rest of the movie is Tezuka being experimental, going from his little frames as possible cartoony stuff to some higher frame rate painted like stuff.

Sometimes when I'm just sitting here in front of the keyboard I start tapping two keys as if I'm doing some sort of rhythm game. Like pressing both F/T and then R/U. Up down up down up down in sync to a beat. 

Gonna go see Whisper of the Heart on July 1st. That's a pretty good Studio Ghibli film. First time I saw it was back in 2011 in theaters during Ghibli Fest 2011. In the row in front of me there was this 8 year old kid who was bored beyond tears like halfway through. I felt sorry for her because I figure her parents took her expecting something more adventure like when it's a middle school drama. Kids don't care about that. I hoped that down the road she'd get a chance to see it again and not have it forever burned into her mind as "that one really boring cartoon."
