Got my car inspected yesterday. It was the first time in a decade of driving where I didn't have total anxiety when having to do it. Well, a little anxiety, but that was hold over from the old car. My check engine light was eternally on all the time that I drove it, despite there never being a major issue when it came to actually driving it. Of course you couldn't pass state inspection with it on, so it became an annual event of checking to see what all was the problem, then reset the light and hope it stays off just long enough for me to pass the inspection. A couple times I had the misfortune of having it pop back on just as I was going to get it inspected.
This year with the new (to me) car? Drove up, passed it, and left. Who knew it could be so stress free!

Agreed. Since she's apparently going to go to college soon it would give us our "Elaine Fix" even if she's no longer around.
