It's Thanksgiving tomorrow, which means I'm gonna be eating a shit ton of food and probably feel like absolute shit afterward. I don't want to say the colored page will be delayed by a day, but it may well be depending on how I feel after I get back home tomorrow. I've got Friday off too, so worst case scenario I'll be able to get it done then.
Been playing through Final Fantasy X on the switch. It was always one of those games I meant to get around to playing, but never did. I actually bought it on PS2 back in like 2012 and then on PS3 not too long after, but all I'd do is get to where Tidus meets Rikku, go "I'll come back to this," and then don't. At the time my memory on the swap character mechanic was foggy, and it felt like it'd be a pain in the ass, sorta like how it is in Pokemon. Never liked wasting a turn switching characters.
Thankfully it turns out my memory was wrong and switching characters is the most painless fucking thing. Don't lose a turn or nothing. Just pop and swap and boom, off they go. Also the lack of weapon stats outside of different abilities makes my life easier. I don't have to think about constantly buying an entire new set of equipment every time I get to the next area in the game. Overall it's been a lot of fun.
Story's dumb, and I didn't remember it being so Japanese in the way characters move and react to things. Then again I was like 11 when it first came out and I saw bits and pieces at a friend's house. It's so obvious it hurts now.
