For the past week and change, my car's been struggling to start sometimes. At first I thought maybe the battery was going out, so I went to O'Reilly's to have them run a diagnostic check to see if that was the case. Luckily it wasn't! Instead it was the alternator was outputting too low a voltage! $311 later I owned a new alternator, except the mechanic by my parent's place were busy as fuck, so for the time being it's sitting in the trunk of my car until I can get to a mechanic to swap it out.
Guess it was a good thing a chimney fell on the car back in October to help pay for it.
I've fallen back into playing Halo like it's 2004, except this time it's Reach. I never played Reach back when it came out, but goddamn is the multiplayer hitting all the right buttons. Played some of the campaign with Cooper the other day, which was just as fun as playing co-op halo/2/3 back in the day. I'm looking forward to playing through them again.
One thing I noticed, and someone who knows better can correct me on this: I guess each Halo game in the Master Chief Collection has its own separate multiplayer mode that plays like that specific game? If that's the case, I fear that when Halo and Halo 2's multiplayer comes out the amount of people playing them will thin out between all the different Halo games. At least they're there and not tossed aside.
