And we're back to our regularly scheduled program!
Started watching some of the anime I got for my birthday. Started with Yumeiro Patisserie, which is a shoujo anime from back in 2009. Basically girl wants to become a great patisserie and goes to fancy ass will never exist school that exists mostly to teach teenagers how to make sweets. It's got all the shoujo tropes: lead girl assigned to group of the most popular boys, jealous girls out to get her, magic fairies helping them all bake sweets, and drama. It's alright. The SDBD looks like ass though as Sentai Filmworks fucked up on all their SDBDs, so there's some serious interlacing shit going on. Made it to about 12 episodes and took a break.
Another show I checked out was Magic of Stella. It's cute girls making doujin games. Not much else to say about it. It's mindless and innocent, though I question calling it Magic of Stella as it's just the name of the first game the protagonist works on. And that's over and done with halfway through the show and they move onto another game. Guess I have to give it props for not being a goddamn sentence for the title. Was a blind buy for like $6-8, and was alright.
