Went and saw Birds of Prey on Friday night. It was swell. Helped that I went in with bottom of the well expectations because I thought Suicide Squad was absolute garbage. Didn't really get any laughs out of me, though, but people in the audience laughed, so I guess it was pretty funny.

It's weird seeing comedies in the theater. Rarely do they get burst gut laughs out of me. At most a sharp exhale from my nose. Meanwhile everyone else will be laughing their butts off. Never is it that I don't find it unfunny. I like the jokes and all. I recognize it's "good." But it's not fun to fake laugh, and being one of the few people not reacting to it really makes you realize how dead of a person you are.

But then I'll crack up at stupid shit like this.

Anyway, Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken continues to be the best anime of 2020. It's downhill from here, folks!
