Set up an appointment with a gastroenterologist on Thursday morning, which will be conducted by skype or zoom or whatever the hell they decide to go with. I would've preferred to do it in person, but it's not like I have much of a choice right now. Hopefully it means it'll be cheaper than an in person visit.

I don't know about you guys, but I prefer when I can set up an appointment online through a website vs. having to do it entirely by phone. Typing in my insurance stuff and what have you is much easier than having to voice it and correct the person on the other line. More so with my address. The last thing I want is any medical information to get lost in the mail because they forgot to put in my apartment number (like what happened with the tax office). It's not uncommon for me to get a bill months after a visit saying I owe like $30-40 more because insurance shit. Lord knows what'd happen if they send it to the wrong apartment number (or straight up the main building and no apartment at all) and it vanishes.

Anyway, I don't feel like much will get much accomplished this first visit outside of maybe prescribing something or preliminary judgment to figure out where to go from here. My fear is that they'll need to do some sort of procedure but can't do it due to all the corona stuff. Then again, it's not like I'm dying (probably), so staying away from any doctor's office is in my best interest for the time being.
