Giving a warning ahead of time, but I'm gonna be attempting a different method of shading tomorrow. What I typically do is pick a different color for every instance there's shading. This results in nicer looking shading that isn't a monotonous shade. It is also time consuming, and I already never cared for coloring as it is.
But the other day Cooper linked me to an auto script on Clip Studio Paint's assets store where you can shade in just one color, and the script will automatically adjust the colors to better suit the base color. Automatic color tweaking! Woo! In fact, I used it already in that Nemona drawing I posted earlier today, which I used as a test bed and thought it worked pretty well for the most part! When the colored version goes up tomorrow the shading will be done using that auto script.
Best case scenario nobody can really tell the difference and it's all fine and dandy!
