Like, feeling physically ill forcing myself to work on drawing stuff while in the back of my mind I had a whole pile of prep work to do, such as finishing the last couple storyboards for the current B23 chapter, write and storyboard more Kat, and the actual comic pages themselves. It was not good.
To top it off, the winning poll entry last week was "Elaine seductively sliding her hand into Doris' vagina to pull out Kevin's dick."
And I did not want to draw that. At all.
That sort of stuff is incredibly not my thing. I don't care for that sort of thing in other bodysuit/skinsuit art, and I very much did not look forward to forcing myself to put pen to paper a drawing I was going to actively hate drawing. I knew for a fact it was going to turn out like absolute shit.
So I binned the poll and asked the winner who submitted that option to choose something else because I wasn't going to be able to do it. They came up with "Owen infiltrating girl's night by wearing a suit of Daphne," which is more in my wheelhouse.
What I should've done from the get go was reject the idea outright instead of praying that you guys would vote for something else. Of course it didn't help that last week's poll didn't have many legit options to begin with.
So for the 20 odd people who wanted to see the winning option from last week, I'm sorry I couldn't draw it for you. Going forward I'm going to be more outspoken about rejecting stuff I don't want to draw. There's some stuff I'll just draw it anyway despite not wanting to, because it's more or less fine, but last week's option went past my threshold of tolerance.

Don’t feel pressured to create any art you don’t personally feel comfortable doing. I wouldn’t even put it up as an option in a poll if you don’t wanna do it. Besides, this piece is much better than what was voted for imo

2023-08-07 19:37:08 +0000 UTCYou should only draw what you feel comfortable and enjoy. With other Artists who do these sorts of suggestion polls they add a disclaimer that they can remove any suggestions they find objectionable. I don't think that's unreasonable.

Thank you Mega for your efforts. As for the image of the post, it also has its own. Yes, I know, you have seen that Daphne's strong personality influences even the bodysuits made based on her. And while Owen isn't an airheaded goofball like Kevin, he could be affected by the impulses coming from Daphne's bodysuit. Maybe she would be a professional in the mission but the longer I wore that bodysuit she would start to see the handsome guys she meets with more "interest", and to top it off she bumps into a kind and handsome guy who helps her stand up . This would cause "Daphne" to turn red hot and run away. She finishes the mission and attempts to remove her bodysuit only to discover that the joints were starting to weld and her mask was too attached to her face, taking a while to remove. Once again Daphne's bodysuit proved that she was still unstable, and with a high chance of merging with her host. For a few days after that Owen has after effects, seeing hallucinations of seeing himself reflected as Daphne in mirrors or shop windows. Nothing that a few days off and some medication for schizophrenia prescribed by Dr. Miranda won't cure. (me and my fics that I put together with only one image)
