August 2023 FREE Update: We have reworked The Blind Spot, one of my personal favourite maps, almost from scratch. Here is a list of the new things:

Reworked and improved all maps to meet our current standards.
This map can now be seamlessly combined with the Modular Street pack.
Added 8 new variations including the Grass variations with no river and some minor useful variations.
Added Roofs to all variations. (Variations + Roofs make a total of 20 maps more than in the last version).
Added the Foundry VTT module (Scenes and Tiles to combine with Modular Street).
Added the Cart and Boat individual assets.
Added the Roof transparent assets.

This map can be combined with the Modular Street and all the districts so you can build your own modular city.

The Blind Spot

Taverns are always busy and crowded, but sometimes it’s good to have some privacy. This is where The Blind Spot enters the game.
All workers here are blind. Some were born without sight, some were cursed with a blindness spell and others got their eyes gouged out by accident or by the company itself. Most of the workers here are slaves trying to pay some debts, but there are others that are just doing honest work, because trying to find a job being blind is hard. In any case, “officially” everyone here is free and The Blind Spot is completely legal.
The rooms are only accessible by boat using the city canals. These boats are covered, have no windows and the clients are not allowed to exit the boat or look outside until the driver gives the order.
They usually bring individual clients into the building from their pickup point, so the clients can not be tracked together. Same when they leave, they'll do it one by one.
Once they are in the room, it’s locked from the outside and they can not exit without asking for permission and until the boat arrives. To ask for something you have to pull the rope by the window, this will raise a little flag, so when a patrolling driver finds it they’ll knock the door for you to tell them what you need. Also the boats must not get close to each other to preserve the privacy of their clients.
The boat drivers are the only ones that are not blind or blindfolded but they will never look at you or say anything to you. So basically the drivers don't know who is in the boat.
All of this plus their motto, “No questions asked”, makes The Blind Spot the perfect place for people that have an affair, for criminals to meet up and for other questionable activities.
Prices are quite high, but if you are looking to go unnoticed, this is the place for you.
It has some rooms to spend the night, meeting rooms, a big suite only reserved for very wealthy personalities and even a private concert room in which performers might also be blindfolded as well.
You can ask for anything you want and they will bring it to you and try to fulfill your deepest desires. You can even ask for a way out of the city and they can surely make you disappear, for the right amount of money, most probably using the secret hatch into the sewers.

Quest ideas

Dismantle the criminal organization that operates The Blind Spot.
Save a hostage.
Meet with a criminal, smuggler or endangered witness.
Just have a party or meet with friends.
Save some slaves from their master.
Infiltrate the organization to spy on deep secrets.
Hide or pay for an escape route. Use the hatch at the concert room stage to go down to the sewers.
Use this building as the headquarters for your party.
Find the hidden room.
