Arua Mines Part 1 | Modular Caves Compatible

Hi everyone! Today we bring something special. A mining town we have been working on for a while. It's a reasonable big project with all the lore and info you'll need to run it in your own adventures.
It's gonna be split in 3 parts, each one third of the whole map, and includes one of the three entrances to the mining caves controlled by one of the three companies that rule the town. Then a final release with all the info needed to run the town yourself.
And this first part is the smallest of the three maps. As you can see, the map is gonna end up being quite big.

This map can also be combined with Modular Caves, as always, so you can create your own caves system and expand this map even further.

The pack also includes all roofs as individual assets.

Arua Mines

We will reveal more in the future, but for now this is what we can share.

Arua Mines is a mining town built around four entrances to the Aerolite mines, a mineral that has gravitational properties and is used in multiple gadgets and structures.
It's the mineral that gives the floating sky islands their unique capabilities, but it's also used in airships and all sorts of gadgets.
In fact, in this first part of the town there is a small souvenirs shop where you can purchase all sorts of stuff like floating lamp stones, floating runes to engrave into your gear, aerolite keychains, lightweight pickaxes and shovels, and even floating cloaks. All made with aerolite.

There are four entrances to the mines and three companies that rule the town. Each one owns one entrance, except for the newest company, who owns two of them.

The working hours are divided in three shifts, each of 8 hours. That means that the town is always in constant movement, and every 8 hours the bells ring and people goes from the mines to the "showers", then the tavern (will be available in Part 2) and then to sleep to the shared barracks. The beds and the mines are always busy.

The Jolith Cooperative

This first company, with the green banners, and the one that controls this first entrance to the mines is the Jolith Cooperative. Here all workers have the same rank. They all own a part of the exploitation of the mines and receives their part depending on the aerolite surplus sold.
Mining gear is also shared by everyone, but some prefer using their own custom pickaxes enchanted with the lightweight aerolite runes so ease work.

Why does aerolite need to be extracted manually and with no magic means? Well, we will discover it in the next part!

Hope you enjoy!
