The most of mod makers on Nexusmods was disregarding skin maps when producing their body and outfit mods. I'm always trying to follow original game mapping to have proper skin textures in my mods, however even original skin maps are not perfect and there is a room for improvement. About Reshade, as far I didn't meet any, which making sufficient difference. Most of them only making picture worse. Due to this presently I prefer to play without Reshade.

I test everything and mod everything. I reinstalled this game that I had finished two years ago, with the idea of giving it a second life by modding it. So I do it step by step. I also look at the textures, there are ways to have better textures for Aloy's skin like on Skyrim? which makes it less smooth and more natural? after that it can also be linked to a choice of reshade, light on the textures? currently I am looking for a good reshade which treats textures well body and face, not yet found.

2024-01-05 10:39:40 +0000 UTCThank you, just a comment on your body which is very good but I find the arms a little too thin and lacking in muscle for a fighter like Aloy, it looks a little too young girl top model, It's missing just a little muscle and thickness on arms, not by much, the arms of a tennis player are a good example. An ordinary tennis player who remains feminine, not half-men like some. its very thin arms which lift a large weapon break the immersion of the game a little.
