I just started using the Parallax as well. I love it. It adds a new dimension and look and feel to the game. Not the same old same old.

2018-01-29 16:08:39 +0000 UTCSort of. By default, RPG Maker offers preset tilesets to create maps but they limit you to a somewhat small number of parts. Parallax maps use a set of images as layers (like in Gimp or Photoshop) drawn by the creator. Their details are limited only by the time you want to invest in building such maps.
