Added 2019-08-25 12:49:08 +0000 UTCFirst of all, Cyberthing is no more. I finally took the time and changed the working name - Ouroboros Syndrome. I’ll update Patreon’s main page with more info and art closer to the release.
Started preparing logistic maps for the new game - shops, medic and intro sequence maps for the start. Despite lack of standard materials, they are coming along fine with self-prepared tiles. So far, I have 7 maps ready and plan to do at least 10 more so the initial Ouroboros release will have most of the logistic maps + some real gameplay in it.
Weapons, both melee and ranged, won’t be a problem too. There are enough materials for a wide assortment, from knives and pistols to smgs and assault rifles. I’m more concerned about balancing all of these to create different playstyle. Speaking about styles - you will be available to customize the guns towards your liking with upgrades. The system is already in place.
The first scene for Yorna should be ready during the next week. Then I’ll add another one to the mansion’s basement. After this, I’m planning to shift my full attention to Ouroboros scenes. Together with artists, we found pretty nasty surprises in the existing logic structure which needs fixing before we can move forward.
Ah and the walkthrough for Yorna should be ready before the next weekend. Started polishing it and adding new details but fresh animation troubles required attention.

Yeah, players voted for cyberpunk setting (thank you, mister Reaves and CD Project RED) in the next game. So you can expect hi-tech guns and melee weapons, implants, hacking and all the flavor to come with it. As for the question about the similarity with Yorna, both yes and no. Ouroboros will use the same engine and a bit different combat system. Yorna was focused on the free exploration of small locations while Ouro will feature missions like you can see in Shadowrun. I’ll prepare several options to complete said missions from stealth approach and diplomacy to bloodbaths. Free exploration will, of course, stay yet in lesser amount. Yorna had most H content available from combat loses while Ouro”s adult content will be behind city exploration, secondary quests from characters and possible romance lines. Don’t worry, some ”quickies” will be in too. Plus, the new game will be more focused on the plot and story rather than just beat’em ups in each zone. Compared to Yorna, Ouro has about 1,5-1,7 times of story content planned with some twists and details at the moment. The exact number may change depending on new ideas and how well will the game be received. From hentai point of view, Ouro will get more size options for scenes according to the previous feedback poll and won’t be focused on yuri kinks. And the animation of course. Working it with my full attention and really want to show a preview once it’s done. So far, I plan to animate all the scenes in the game. There are the main differences between the two but there are a lot of smaller things. It would take a wall of text to describe them all. Wait until the release and check for yourself. Ouro will have the same distribution model as Yorna with public releases trailing one month behind from patrons’ version.
