Great video. Though I am somewhat disappointed we didn’t get a joke about him equating racism, sexism and classism as equally terrible because they all judge you on ”what you have” (either a vagina, dark skin or lots of money). Exactly the same thing. Nothing odd about comparing capital and genetics, not at all. I might be paraphrasing a bit, but I can’t be arsed to make the effort to go back and check the exact wording. Real double-take moment, there.

it's a joke. :p he's structured the sentence and inflection so that it sounds as though he's listing 2 options: "crowder = various kinds of racist", or "something else". by leaving it hanging, and not delivering the "something else", the statement then becomes "crowder is one of the following: nationalist, supremicist, racist."

I have a suggestion. at 16:30 where you're talking about how crowder helped molyneux sell his book, you actually show his book. could be that i'm being oversensitive here, but I feel like the argument that "you don't need to promote someone to disagree with them" could be made stronger by blurring the book. even if just to reinforce your point. otherwise, crowder/molyneux supporters looking for any reason to disagree with you might fall back on calling you a hypocrite. hope this helps. otherwise, great video as usual. <3

Great vid as usual Shaun. One thing I found a bit off. At 29:35 in the video for your closing statement about Crowder there's an inflection in your voice that makes it sound like you're going for a question rather than making a statement. Not sure if you cut something out and that's why it's left that way but it just stood out to me.

I’ve watched a few left-tuby people cover this vid by Crowder in the past few weeks and after watching your take I was reminded why I became a patreon of yours. Yup really great vid, and the ending is hilarious. I do still kind of agree with the first point here, mostly because of how hypocritical it is that Steven doesn't want to be lumped in with the actual guests on his show that he agrees with openly on the show, but is completely fine putting socialists and neoliberals in the same ideological group.

Great vid, but I do have one bit of criticism: the video seems a bit "preaching to the choir"-y. Although, tbh, I have no idea who the intended audience for the video is, so maybe its ok? There are two major points that sort of jump out at me as being alienating for a "neutral" viewer: 1) You brush over the liberal/leftist distinction very quickly without really explaining why these are separate groups and treat this as if it would be self evident. It is to me, now, but it wouldn't have been 2 years ago. 2) I think you should move up your argument for why racists need to be banned from social media. You present it as self evident that racism is bad, which, you know, fair enough, but if you're looking to reach non-lefties with the video (or even lefties who still hold on to the idea of absolute freedom of speech) , I think it would help to move that argument forward in the video to really underscore why it matters. Again, I agree with you now, but me from the past would've dismissed a lot what you said because "free speech has to exist for everyone, not just those you agree with."

Well done, Shaun! Careful and detailed as usual - which is one of your biggest strengths. Thank you!
