Hope you're all well. I made a little PragerU response video. Just a lil fun one
I still have that predator video on the shelf, but i'm in two minds about it atm, think i might need to take a different approach to it. Besides that I have a few other things coming - i might put out that video about one of my favourite anime shows next. please don't all leave if i start talking about anime

What do you think, we're all stupid or what? He replied to one other comment and said he'll correct that, and I guess he did that by the time you watched.

2023-03-05 17:26:36 +0000 UTCI mean, the reason they include bad and contradictory sources in their videos is just because they know none of their viewers (the ones they care about reaching) will check. It's fun to point out how bad their videos are etc. but when it comes to why it's always the same reason: because they know it will work anyway.

Of course, late capitalism really only needs workers for Amazon fulfillment centers, so I guess they'll be fine as long as they can do that and operate the microwave in their Tiny Houses.

2023-03-04 22:08:07 +0000 UTCI would read him including the huffpost link as being more about Fatherhood in the pager U sense being an entitlement in the literal sense, 'Fathers are not needed, dads are' reads to the avid prager U fan like a threat. They have run videos about how parents should demand children obey them, that they should never explain themselves or their commands to their kids, and that the assumption is that such authoritarian treatment "makes kids happier", Patriarchy is not a bad thing in this view, a literal head-of-the-household who does not need to provide anything to be that head, but anything they do provide is a beneficence to a wife and children that they can only repay with obedience and an unthinking deference to his authority is the assumed "best life" with no expectation of needing to offer anything except to compete with other men. The worldview is why those pieces were included, the whole package IS the underdog position, in the same pay Incels are an 'underdog position' when they complain that when women needed to get married things were "fairer". There is no comprehension that they have "defeated their own argument" because that argument is at best a smokescreen, and at worst a misunderstanding, he's not talking to people that read those articles, this is just conservatives talking to themselves and therefore they don't have to lay it all out because they all "know how things should work" or they would drop out of conservatism. It sounds mad, but this is how you get Donald Trump, Jordan Peterson, Alex Jones, and Dennis Prager, all in theory in community as conservatives because the common thread is the veneration of the assumed preeminence of masculinity in society.

2023-03-04 17:34:58 +0000 UTCThis whole new kick about treating kids like it's okay to brainwash and enslave them is not cool. Conservatives see children as moldable and nothing else. You know it's really frustrating because I have four kids. You know we try to tell them to treat people with respect and to treat people with dignity and stuff like that. But we don't just outright tell them it's bad to do this and it's good to do that. When it comes to obvious things like crime and cruelty, we do, but it's kind of a disadvantage when you're trying to bring up free thinking rational people. But when you know other people's families are just telling them exactly what to think. I think all this focus on social issues with their kids though is really hurting the conservatives in the sense that the they're reading comprehension, the kids reading, ability, and ability to understand things is incredibly compromised by this sort of brainwashing treatment. Like my son's nine and he can do better work than a lot of my co-workers can about reading and writing and math. So I mean in the sense that my children will defeat all these people's children in the job market. That's good. But I mean I don't even believe in capitalism and now they're finding a way for I mean I believe it exists, but you know I don't support it. Now they're finding a way to get me to be pleased about the supposed meritocracy that it provides when I'm not really pleased about it. I'm just looking for a silver lining
