Mini-Episode 08: From British Guns to Crocodile Bellies

I just posted an episode yesterday and there's a new one today?!? Turns out that yesterday I screwed up. I forgot that for contractual reasons I'm not supposed to post ad-free versions of the episodes that were previously paywalled. For the future, do you prefer me to post versions of those episodes with ads here or would you rather get those on Apple Podcasts or wherever you listen to podcasts? Please, let me know and I'll try to make sure to do as you wish.
Today, I'm not screwing up (not about publishing at least). So, here's a new mini-episode for you.

World War II is packed with tales of rather wild events. This one is as wild as it gets. Legend has it that, in 1945, nearly 1,000 Japanese soldiers stationed in Burma (modern day Myanmar) retreated into a swamp only to be eaten by giant crocodiles. In this episode, I attempt to separate the truth and the fiction behind this story.

Whatever is best for you- I’ve been listening here and then again when they are released on Apple Podcasts. But I ain't spending any time on it because in the meantime, every three months, a person is torn to pieces by a crocodile in north Queensland. 😂

Post them here, IMO.
