I'd Love to Hear Your Opinion
Added 2023-07-24 17:39:28 +0000 UTCI'd love to ask for your opinion about something that's on my mind. Ever since I brought History on Fire out of Luminary, I have been releasing roughly two episodes a month (between new episodes and re-runs of previously paywalled episodes that most listeners never had access to). I always hear how the more you publish content, the more you will attract an audience but I'm getting the feeling that it may not be a good idea. Download numbers have drastically declined since I started doing this. My guess is that two long history episodes within a month are too much for most people to keep up. So, I'm thinking about going back to once a month. Of course, on Patreon you'd also still get a mini-episode every month in addition to the main release. What would you suggest?
Incidentally, if you haven't seen it yet, here's the link to the newly created History on Fire YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFCiqHbWJO26nFzUP-Eu55Q

In my opinion, it’s a marathon, not a sprint. Pace yourself. You do not want to get burned out.
