Mini-Episode 14: Archaeology (Part 1)

A recent conversation with Dan Carlin sent me down a rabbit-hole of research about archaeology. In this episode, I nerd out about the reasons for my fascination with archaeological discoveries and share with you a few good ones. Today, we chat about prehistoric arrowheads sitting on my nightstand, the oldest statue ever created, Paleolithic shamanism, ‘The Sorcerer’, moments frozen in times, haunting messages from the past, The Lord of the Rings, and much more.

thank you!

History on Fire

Loving this meandering stream of thought, such a great episode, so glad I got to hear it, can't wait for part 2. A film along the same vibe as red violin is an old black and white movie called 'Tales of Manhattan' the film has a series of short stories that illustrate the journey of a tuxedo suit from owner to owner, I think you'd enjoy it. The story about the preserved footprints with the toddler was fascinating!

very cute

History on Fire

I read about an ancient set of adult footprints with even tinier footprints inside the adult footprints, suggesting that a child was playfully following the adult by stepping on the adult's tracks. Cute if you think about it.
