Sex Bad is actually an idea they were trying to drive home in this episode...and this season a lot as well. I think you can put together why because I know you've seen the next few episodes. I never really thought about the whole negative outlook on children in this episode, so thanks for giving me something new to consider. :) And lastly, I have a personal theory on why the Gorch brothers were in this episode. It's kind of a thin theory, but I don't want to say it just yet cuz...spoilers. ;D

Watching this made me realize how many fantastic lines there are for an episode with a very poorly/weirdly written plot. There were obviously a lot of punch-ups from Joss or someone. Some of my favorites: ▪︎"As punishments go, this is fairly abstract." ▪︎"Mr. Whitmore didn't show up today." "That news is of the past." "He's missing. Presumed dead." "Presumed by whom?" "Well, me." ▪︎"It's an egg Buffy, it doesn't emote." ▪︎"Can I just say gyeechh." "I'll see your gyecht and raise you a nyaghh."

And it's honestly thrilling seeing which episodes someone is gonna hate the most. Most people aren't fond of this episode, but some like it better than the other "bad" episodes this season, while others never want to watch it again. I love 80s/90s horror so for me a lot of the lowest rated episodes of Buffy are still fun to watch, including this one. There is one single episode of Buffy that I do not rewatch.

I was eggstatic about seeing this reaction and shocked that you were so critical :-O how could you not LOVE this episode? It's the best of the series lol. Don't hold back about not liking an episode. We Buffy fans are quite aware that not all episodes are good, so we are not mad hehe :-D Hope you will post next 2 episodes soon, cause I can't wait to see your reaction to those 2 :-) Curiosity is killing me :-P
