2025-08-12 15:53:16 +0000 UTCI've been living in New Zealand the last 8 years and talking about this more violent side of Maori history is VERY taboo in modern NZ and will get you immediately labeled an extreme right-wing racist. Great to get your "terrible person" perspective on it :D Would love to hear more stories from this time, you don't hear much about this history when you live there
