Just a preview and some thinking

In terms of the slot system now, adding head is surely prohibited by the original game... This is really the thing that hinders the prosperity of PH mods. If there's a way to get around it, things would be much better

You're right, you can only replace, not able to add. But the total number is 4, instead of 3. There's one substitution character there, type 4. But I don't regard it as a problem. Whether you play in PH or PH studio, the big odds are you only play with one chara at a time. And I personally like this substitution method, so I don't have to worry about someone stealing my work and integrating my mods into his "integration PH game package" Tutorials are hard to write. I just wrote a written guide on how to port my completed FBX files into PH. It's a long article, you can find it on my Sina blog. Let alone head import. At least I'll not consider about it in the short run.

Eh, if someone found a way to add heads instead of having to replace them, I'd be all for modding it. But from what I got from lwlin, it might be too hard.

Does PlayHome head mod only work with 3 main characters (mom and daughters)you could replace the heads of the 3 main characters? You just can’t add the head? Would you consider an updated tutorial of Roy12 since he left out a lot of things. In the future not right now Doesn’t have to be video, a written guide. I think because modders make money modding for Honey Select so they want to jump in and Playhome gets ignored.

I think I'm looking forward to DoA6 girls in PH. Studio will be no problem, but I don't know if other modders are willing to contribute.

Maybe I'll record a video for how to make her appear in Studio soon. In fact, the only thing you'll need to do, is download my FBX files and replace the assets under PlayHomeStudio64bit_Data folder. Yeah. PH's API is a little bit different than HS, and it uses a higher version of Unity. Functional plugin makers don't have the motvaion to remake their plugins. And everyone has the tendency to stick to his old ways, especially the new one has some limitations on this and that. But as a modder, I think I will try more possibilities, and try to make PH a better game.

I know HS has more content/mods, but PH looks way better in graphics, you should give it a try to make more gaming girls, Diaochan looks so pretty in PH, but her face doesnt load in studio...

I stayed at HS because of DOA characters. Moving to PH means that many MOD items have to be reinstalled or may lack some functional mods. This is the main reason why I don't play PH.

Well I guess most people, don’t care enough to mod. I wonder is the process same as Roy’s tutorial? Just different when using SB3UGS? Lucky for me I understand mandarin, but I only use that to talk to parents, so I could use your videos.

I think the problem is heads being hard coded, and you cannot play with several customized girls at the same time... I don't think I'll release any video tutorial in the short run, cuz it seems not so popular and takes huge amount of effort. My bilibili video tutorials' traffic is even lower than one of my gameplay recording video... Sad about it. No motivation at all, sorry about it.

Playhome is too similar with HS maybe. Personally, I think it deserves more attention. Whatever there is in HS, there is in PH, just lack some popularity. Less mods, so less popularity, less popularity, so again less mods, negative feedback forever...

People play HS because of the amount of head mods available, even though a users can actually do it. Now if PlayHome had the same amount of head mods, and something to do with heads being hard coded, it would be more popular. I don’t play these games anymore, focus on modding, any chance of how you did (Head replace)tutorial for other people to try out in the future.

Honey select is more popular, more fun and better for studio neo etc, playhome is almost a rapelay 2.0 with better graphics and nothing more besides that it is easier to work in mods for HS.
