About DoA6 Character Nico and Crowdfunding

I just found the model for Nico on deviantart.com. Fans should thank XPS-Fanatic for porting it into XNALara so quickly, I think.

The model has a high polycount of 10000 verts (3x the vertice-count of HS models, 3000), but the texture is not very high. Yet 1024 x 1024 is enough for our HS/PH porting.

If you guys are interested in it, I will initiate a crowdfunding as usual. The early access amount of money each person, and 5 will make the project successful and I'll do the HS and PH ports.

This is a just pre-crowdfunding post, but you can begin to pay. The detailed crowdfunding rules will be published soon. That will not be too different from the initiative for Nagisa

I am willing to invest if modeling of DOA6 is clearly different from HS. For clear comparison, it is necessary to newly port the already-ported character (EX: Kasumi ...) based on DOA6.

Yeah, DoA6 has subdivided the model x4. That means DoA6's model is 4 times refined, and that's why characters look a little bit different. Whether or not worth reporting, I don't know. I think Nico's crowdfunding will be very likely to be successful, and we can see how the result comes out to be and then decide.

Also, do you think there is a new porting value for DOA6 modeling?

DOA6 differs from DOA5 in detail. DOA6 looks better, but I do not know if it's due to more polygons or because of better shaders and game engine effects. If there are no more polygons, the difference will be less in HS. Has Niko's modeling been made with more polygons and fine detail than the DOA5?
