Hope you all enjoyed the holidays and are barreling into the New Year with high hopes. I personally am drafting up some cool things for the year to see where it can take me. Some risks, perhaps some rewards...
There will be a Town Hall sometime this month but I want to get a sense of what people think would be a good format or topic. Do people prefer the laid back Q&A style? Do you want a really organized discussion? What topics do you think we should go over? I'm down to discuss anything... from age old debates to trending discourse... LET ME KNOW!!!!!! THIS IS YOUR COMMUNITY TOO!!!!!!
One risk I will be taking this year is that I am hiring an assistant for the channel. I'm starting with an 8 week term to see if it actually adds any productivity gains. I have never been able to afford to hire someone to help with the videos, but I've come into a small lump of extra money, and I'm going to see if I can make it work.

I‘m still behind on listening to all the Peer Reviews but Shanespear‘s last video about discourse fatigue and commodification of artistic work really spoke to me, especially the insinuated constant looming danger of burnout. Otherwise as a European I haven’t been able to make the townhalls because of the timezones but I hope they work out intriguing and fascinating this year. Best of luck with the assistance as well and all the best for the new year in general!
