I've always liked Kirk and I can't stand Ross. In The Good Place when Michael asked 'do all the Friends belong in Hell?', I said 'only one'. I think Ross should know better than to do his (deeply, imo) problematic stuff. But Kirk seems charmingly naive.

2023-09-20 08:59:59 +0000 UTCI don’t know if this has been mentioned but Charles from Angel got his surname from Sean (Kirk) and James Gunn. Joss Whedon named that character after them. Sean was even in 2 episodes of the first season of Angel. I think he played one of Doyle’s demon family members in Hero. Kirk is a lovable character, as you will see. I agree he is kind of a Ross Geller with the annoying, borderline problematic traits filtered out 😂
