I loved this reaction and glad you enjoyed it so much! I love films and books that work brilliantly - and sometimes very differently - whether you're a child or an adult. This is definitely one of those. I think the man sweeping up at the end is definitely Smee. Not checked and this may not be something confirmed by the film-makers, but I think he is. Jack's baseball was stolen by a "scary man" and Maggie says he told her he was a window-washer. Hook has a baseball in Neverland and I think Smee stole it. Hook's been spying on Peter somehow! I also think Peter initially knows that he is Smee, after he sees him. He looks at him a long time. Whether the memory fades quickly, or he decides he was wrong... who knows?

Man that never fails to bring a smile to my face, many times. So good. Also, fun fact, the pirate that doubted Hook and got put in that chest as punishment...that was Glenn Close.
