I just saw this reaction. It's magnificent, as usual (you made me notice aspects, references, and subtleties that I hadn't before), and now I'm salivating for you to react to Jordan Peele's "Us."

2021-09-22 22:18:16 +0000 UTCMan a very serious and suspenseful movie, great first directing for Jordan Peele, he's pretty talented. Also with Lord of the Rings, I'd so recommend the Extended Cuts as they're the most fleshed out stories, and they're all available on HBO Max. Can't say for how long..but the Extended versions make the movies much better with the story. The Theatrical versions tighten the pace and streamline a few scenes, plus cutting major moments. And they all ain't cuts that have like 10 or 15 minutes added, the first one is 30 minutes longer, the second one is 40 minutes longer and the third is 50 minutes longer so..yeah.

2021-05-09 19:25:05 +0000 UTCFirst---yay lord of the rings in june my birthday month! ..............I call it reverse racism because it isn't racism in it's traditional sense where they talk about the undesirable aspects you usually contribute to the concept but the focus (which yes you got with the admirable quality comments). I honestly when I saw this title thought omg what has he gotten himself into? Because until the conversation about the surgery where it wasn't just them becoming their slaves but actually becoming them. Remember the conversation with Georgiana said there's no one more in charge than her and turns out she was the grandmother.......and yes why the one guy was asking him to see his golf form and the other guy was looking like he was showing himself off he was showing off how the procedure worked for him. and the girlfriend gaslighting him the whole time., my first hint was when she tried to pretend that she didn't remember what weekend it was....and how did she not know every other year they did this they had auctions then too? Disturbing movie. I won't watch it on my own again. but great breakdown handling the issue.
