Yes, the powers that be that hold the authority over the council and the media always call groups and initiates of resistance against them as “terrorists”. Like we haven’t heard that before. Age old method of divide and conquer.

Gabrielle: The Criminal There are instances in the show, particularly season 1, where Gabrielle commits crimes. She seems innocent, but she does illegal things. Like stealing and acting like a petty thief. Here she brings Xena’s chakram, sword and whip into Xerxes jail cell. Being more useful to Xena than anybody has any right to be. The clever little smuggler. Useless tag-along, my ass. She was Xena’s resource centre.

2021-06-08 02:04:00 +0000 UTCWe've seen glimpses of it here and there, with a larger dose this episode. The show hasn't really gone full-on with the humour yet, but we can all see that it's there! XD About the staff, I'd like to think that Gabrielle didn't want to damage the one passed down from Ephiny's mother, so she stashed that one someplace safe and started travelling with a regular staff Xena and her picked up from a local weapons shop.

He is a great side character.....and i think he added just the humor you needed for being in a jail cell most episode, and his character is a great comedic character. It's also nice tidbits on how you can get regular side characters on a show where they are always traveling....him being a traveling peddler as well. (Koz already explained the back story). What is great is how they give you the hints.....like you think ok why all the focus on crazy rock guy.....and then later it's doh why didn't i think about him being the spy.

This enterprising fellow is a recurring character on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, which is how he and Xena know each other. I was glad you liked Sal, who’s terrific. “She’s your friend? You have a friend?” 👍🏻😆
