So I'm curious what my next fic should be and I want you all to decide

2024-12-12 03:34:42 +0000 UTCauthor since you are looking for ideas for a new fic how about writing one about a guy from our world who was born with eidetic memory in the family of (x) president where his mother was the genius chemical scientist of the country who worked on secret government projects, his grandfather the general of the army, his uncle, a renowned mechanical engineer in charge of all the secret advances on war technology such as tanks and missiles, his aunt a doctor-biologist who works with his mother in the system of genetic improvements and revolutionary medicine and a cousin who is a computer genius, you can make the mc live under the tutelage and expectations of his entire family since he was a genius (but he didn't care about that he only cared about his martial arts classes, fencing, and assassination arts, and relaxing by reading manga, anime and playing games, but because of his family he had to act like the perfect genius and learn everything from politics to how to make a plane from scratch and after dying by a terrorist gang that attacked the white house (place where his father the president lives) he reincarnates in the world of biochok in rapture where he discovers his love for inventing plasmids, and after rapture falls apart he discovers his love for fighting and war and after dying in that world he is reincarnated in the world of attack on titans, where without ties and half crazy, he begins a path of conquest, invention and personal pleasure (he only cares about fighting titans and inventing plasmids with the titans like, inventing hardening with rainer's blood, or arson with bertol's blood) you could make the mc a couple of years older than eren so he can save his mother in a jeep that he invented himself and have chemistry with Hange while they invent plasmids and laugh like crazy

I’m on the fence if you should read them, I don’t want to demotivate. But maybe after you finish yours you could check them out?

And during this Gwen would be in love with Arthur, while Arthur would be in love with Merlin, while Lance would be in love with Gwen...

Cause I'm making be honest, I always liked the Idea of a more useful Ron and could totally see Ron being the Spiritual Successor of King Arthur(or Gryffandor). I don't know much about the Arthurian Legend besides whatever was in the Merlin TV Show and I can see Ron being a Muscle-brained and lovable idiot who will go to great lengths to protect his friends(which he does in canon). He's also great a Chess in canon so that could be some kind of hint to his skill as a commander. Plus, he's pretty terrible at magic, it would be pretty cool to see him be great with a sword.

They travel around the world until he becomes 10-11 then they go back to England where they receive their letter, Merlin reveals that she's actually also a little girl and joins him as they go to hogwarts together, where they met a boy name about Arthur's age named Lance (Ooooh I wonder who that could be~) It would mostly be a story about redemption

It's perfect for a "Street" Level MC and I don't really see many DC fanfics where the MC doesn't get super OP or they stay on the side of the Justice League(which I'm assuming is what's gonna happen since you mentioned Matt will be adopted by Batman). Every other fic you have, the MC is kind of "too powerful", in the sense that I almost never get the feeling they will lose a fight so it would be interesting to see how you do this one. That being said, Danny Phanton/YJ is a close second. Just been wanting to read a DC fic for awhile now where the MC stays with the League and isn't a murder hobo/villain.
