Strange Use of Magic (Black Clover AU) Chapter 121: Strangely Excited

[Third Person's PoV]

Wanda held onto Stephen tightly as she was pressed against the wall, their bodies flush against each other.

Due to their position, she was looking down at him, her legs still locked around his waist. Her fingers tangled in his hair, softly massaging the back of his head as their lips moved together in a sensual dance.

Their breathing turned ragged as they pulled away slightly to catch their breath. Their faces remained close, foreheads nearly touching, the heat of their shared passion almost tangible in the air.

"W-We really shouldn't be doing this," Wanda whispered, guilt creeping into her voice.

"And why not?" Stephen countered, his voice low and steady. "This is something we both want, isn’t it? So why should we stop?" He punctuated his words by capturing her lips in another deep kiss, his hands sliding up her thighs, fingers tracing the soft skin.

"Please..." she pleaded between kisses, her voice laced with both desire and hesitation. The sound of their lips meeting echoed softly in the dimly lit room.

Stephen smirked against her mouth. "You're the one holding onto me, remember?" His hands tightened slightly around her upper thigh, emphasizing his point.

A shiver ran down Wanda’s spine—half from pleasure, half from fear. She knew that once she crossed this line, there would be no going back. And that terrified her.

"I'm sorry!" she suddenly exclaimed, unlocking her legs from his waist. As soon as her feet touched the floor, she pushed him away, tears welling in her eyes.

Before Stephen could react, she turned, yanked open the door, and ran off, accidentally slamming it behind her. She raced down the halls, pressing trembling fingers to her lips, her face burning.

‘What the hell was I thinking?!’ she inwardly chastised herself, shame and confusion swirling in her mind.

Left behind, Stephen stood motionless, his expression a mix of frustration and bewilderment. He wiped the corner of his mouth with his thumb before sighing.

"Did... Did I go too far?" he muttered to himself.

Running a hand through his hair, he let out another sigh. ‘And it was just getting to the good part too... Damn it, I know I shouldn’t be thinking like that, but I’m still a man. I have needs and desires…’

Shaking his head, he mumbled, "I just hope she's okay. The last thing I wanted was to upset her."

With that, he stretched his shoulders and muttered, "I should take a bath before heading to see Mimosa..."

Stephen stood his hands by the handle and had his hand holding it before he tilted his head with a defeated sigh, “I really am such a bastard, aren't I? Women are going to be the death of me one of these days…”

With that Stephen opened the door and headed to the bath before meeting with her fiance.

Like always, Stephen used the Mirror Dimension to travel to Mimosa’s room. When he arrived at her mirror, he didn’t make his presence known right away—it was more fun this way. From his perspective, it was like a one-way mirror.

Inside, Mimosa sat by the vanity, her chin resting on her palm as she idly flipped through the pages of a book.

A mischievous smirk formed on Stephen’s lips. ‘Time for a little fun.’

He brought his hands together and breathed into the mirror, fogging up the surface with his warm breath.

Mimosa glanced up at the movement in the mirror. Expecting to see Stephen’s reflection, she was instead met with the odd sight of her mirror fogging up on its own.

Her brows furrowed in confusion, but before she could dismiss it, letters began forming as if an invisible finger was tracing them. Her breath hitched as she watched the ghostly writing appear.

Halfway through spelling her name, Stephen changed his mind. He decided he had startled her enough for today. Instead, he playfully encircled her name with a heart.

A smile crept onto Mimosa’s face, growing into a soft chuckle as he playfully added an arrow piercing through the heart.

"Just come inside, Stephen," she said, shaking her head with amusement.

The mirror rippled, and a moment later, Stephen’s head poked through the glass, a cheeky grin on his face.

"That’s what she said," he quipped as he smoothly glided through.

Mimosa blinked in confusion. "...What?"

Stephen landed beside her and patted her head. "You sweet, sweet, innocent child."

She leaned into his touch, still looking at him with a puzzled expression. "What are you talking about?"

"It’s nothing," he said, chuckling as he kissed her forehead. "I'm just happy to see you."

"It hasn’t been that long since we last saw each other," she pointed out, wrapping her arms around his waist.

"Yeah," Stephen admitted, hugging her back, "but we didn’t get enough time together."

“Come… I want to hear what you’ve been up to this past week. We couldn’t be together,” Mimosa said, grabbing his hands and gently tugging him toward the bed.

She lay on her side and patted the empty spot beside her with an inviting smile.

“Are you sure you truly want to know? Or is this just a ploy to get me into your bed?” Stephen teased.

Mimosa blushed, hugging a smaller pillow close to her chest. “Maybe it’s both.”

Stephen raised an eyebrow before settling in beside her. They faced each other, and she gazed up at him shyly—though her hesitation slowly faded as he reached out and began running his fingers through her hair.

“Now, go on. I want to hear everything,” she whispered.

“It’s nothing too exciting, but since you want to know…” Stephen began, deciding to be completely honest with her. He told her about his time at the beach—how he had delivered a massage to Vanessa, how he had kissed Wanda, how he had grown closer to Noelle and helped her with her spell before they moved on to the underwater temple.

“Now, wait a minute!” Mimosa suddenly exclaimed, her large pout making Stephen blink in surprise.

Before he could react, she grabbed him by the collar, swiftly flipping them so that he was on his back and she was straddling him.

“Is all you’ve been doing at the beach flirting with girls?!” she demanded, narrowing her eyes.

“No…” Stephen mumbled, looking away. “I trained.”

Mimosa stared at him with a deadpan expression. “I know I gave you permission to see other girls, but aren’t you being a bit too quick?”

Stephen smirked at her tone, a teasing glint in his eyes. “Why? Jealous?”

Mimosa pouted, her lips pressing into a slight pout. “What if I am?” she murmured as she leaned down, hands on either side of his head.

Her ample chest pressed against his torso, their noses nearly touching. “I simply gave you permission, and you turned into a beast,” she huffed. “I underestimated your charm, it seems.”

She sounded as if she were scolding him, but Stephen found her far too adorable to take seriously.

Then, she shifted, sitting up on his waist with her hands pressed against his chest. Tilting her head, she tapped a finger against her chin. “It seems you’ve made some progress with other girls, but I can’t have you forgetting that I’m your fiancée—”

Mimosa suddenly froze, blinking rapidly. Her expression shifted to one of confusion as she squirmed slightly.

“Stephen?” she called hesitantly.

Stephen, blushing furiously, turned his head. “What?”

She blinked down at him, her face slowly turning redder. “What… is that I’m feeling underneath me?”

Seeing his deepening blush, her own face exploded into color. She no longer needed confirmation—she already knew.

“Oh,” she muttered.

After a pause, she whispered shyly, “Is it like that because of me? Do I… excite you?”

Stephen sighed before deciding to swallow his embarrassment. “Mimosa, you’re so gorgeous, you could excite the dead back to life. So it’s not entirely my fault that… some parts of me react unexpectedly.”

Mimosa blushed and smiled at the compliment before she hesitated and subtly shifting her hips again, just to confirm—and the sensation made her let out a tiny gasp. She immediately shivered, then, as if overwhelmed, dropped down onto his chest, her face burning against him.

“Do I really make you feel that way?” she asked softly, looking up at him with wide, wondering eyes.

Stephen cupped her cheek, threading his fingers through her hair before wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her closer. Then, he kissed her, slow and deep, their lips parting with a soft smack.

“Does that answer your question?” he murmured.

Mimosa’s breathing grew heavier, her gaze hazy with emotion. Without hesitation, she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him into another kiss—this one more urgent, more passionate. She pressed against him, her body molding to his as she deepened the kiss.
