Ok so... By patron request I'm going to be looking at the Hobbit again, but NOT the 1977 Rankin/Bass movie. The first ever Tolkien related adaptation ever made: The 1967 short that was created to extort $100,000 from Tolkien.
Only a dozen people saw it originally, but you might have found it online at some point since it was rediscovered (it doesn't count if you watch it after reading this lol)
