It's obvious where his passions lie. Great video. Thank you for the time compiling and explaining it all. I'd been wondering for a while what had happened to anger so many people. I understood the stuff with Channel Awesome. I was personal friends with a few of the creators. I never found anything like that about James. Looking forward to your next video. Take your time and take care of yourself.

2022-03-04 00:32:32 +0000 UTCI've only heard of AVGN because of the Critic vs. Nerd "feud" and I've never had any attachment or interest in James Rolfe's content. I've heard bits and pieces about the drama of him outsourcing production to an outside company, but that's essentially all I understood about the backlash before this video. It was definitely more complicated than just that. This essay went to some places that surprised me, specifically the whole plagiarism, podcast, and Rex Viper sections, which were interesting to me mostly because they were so current. This was both really informative and entertaining.
