To Ja Sun’s credit, he did not leave his master waiting outside the ice-protected Sage God Island for too long. He dropped Tang Yuehua at her father’s despite her urge to stay with him was equally intense, but the damn reincarnated baby of her Elder Brother Hao tipped her want to stay with her family for a while.
Oh, yeah, one look at the baby and Ja Sun instantly knew it was another dimensional hopper. He still wasn’t sure if the baby had a trait or not. And however, did Ja Sun realize the baby’s status as a smuggled soul?
Let’s just say being a Grandmaster in Spatial Laws had some benefits as he could ‘sniff’ the otherworld space—but no evil law around it—a most curious case. Well, not really. Chances are, the boy is from under the same heaven but on a different plane of reality. How he reincarnated is a more curious topic of discussion—for later. All Ja Sun had to do was share a few drinks with his only living in-laws since he is a bit of a superstar throwing hands with a God or whatnot. As for exposing the baby’s status? Ja Sun didn’t care one bit.
Tang Hao is a notably good brother-in-law, and his wife, Dai Mu’s, grudge against him is a thing of the past, so Ja Sun will step in if the baby tries anything stupid with an adult’s mindset. Still, hey, as one transmigrator to another, he couldn’t help but empathize with Tang San and give him the benefit of the doubt. It’s not like the two were mortal enemies, with Ja Sun stealing his wife or something—an act he wouldn’t do since he takes it after insulting his opponents to the point they cut their ties with their mothers.
Before doing all this, Ja Sun admittedly swung by Xunji’s palace, and as one might expect from the intellectual Blood God—he ran, one of the soundest strategies since the dawn of mankind.
But Ja Sun, or Bibi Dong for that matter, wasn’t keen on occupying the land again. Bibi Dong had already looted the Empire’s coffers, and searching the Spirit Hall’s main palace did not result in Ja Sun finding the expected inheritance of a God.
Only a God could tamper with another’s God’s inheritance, so the chances of Xunji taking away the inheritance were high. And it was easy to understand Xunji must have fled to another continent. The continent itself wasn’t known. Ja Sun’s divine intent can barely occupy the current continent, so he didn’t find it productive to chase Qian Xunji blindly when he had a lot of things, and lovers, to do.
And with that, Ja Sun returned to the Sage God Island, intent on returning to pick up Yuehua in a month or so. She’s been away from her clan for quite some time. It wouldn’t do to rush her. Not to mention, she had Tang Chen’s Golden Hammer to return and bring closure to her clan about the Clan’s Ancestors.

Sea God Island was a place of dignity. Seven structures of the mighty creatures of the Ocean defended by the Seven Guardians surrounded the central plaza structured around one large, now deathly, Golden Trident.
“So, I can understand you might be feeling a little unwelcomed,” Ja Sun stares at the group of nine—eight humans and one 100000-year-old beast. His words and nonchalant attitude rub some of them the wrong way. But what can they do about it? The things they have seen are only a part of his true strength. This meeting needs to take place to occupy the island for himself. So, Ja Sun concludes the meeting with a sigh. “I’m not the kind to stay in functionless and luxurious locations, and this plaza is home to many spirit beasts, too. I’ll be living near the coast if that’s cool. Well,” he smirks, “Why wouldn’t it be?”
His words surprise the group ahead as Qian Daoliu and others stand aside and watch everything silently. “But Bibi Dong here will take over the managerial stuff with Bi Ji, so you guys better listen to them. Oh, and Saixi?” He regards his priestess casually, “You’re with me.”
“Please! If you must use someone, use this lowly Sea Woman Douluo instead of our Priestess!”—Interjects the distinctly different Titled Douluo, not because she was a woman, but because the blood of a Mermaid ran thick in the woman.
“For finding a good spot for our new home,” Ja Sun rolls his eyes. This declaration, right here, is what he means when he says the women of this world are equally saturated in the Dark Arts of relationships.
“As you wish,” Bo Saixi replies with a plain expression. While the other woman—Sea Woman Douluo—stifles under the pressure of several feminine stares, especially scorching of which belongs to a woman with deep-blue hair scattered past her hips—Lan Ruo—who seems to be rather hungry at the sight of the half-mermaid.
“That’s it?” The beast woman with grey complexion questions as Ja Sun tilts his head. “You think you have something else to offer me?”
This question stumps them again as Ja Sun states their reality for them, “The only great thing about this Island is the purified collection of the soul origin of Dead Spirit Beasts under this Island, which I will make use of in time now that it is my Divine Intent controlling the Divine Grace Array. I suppose I can extract your Spirit Bone.” His words make the eight others flinch as Bo Saixi remains still. “But if I wanted Spirit Bones at all cost, I would have killed so many.” Ja Sun waves dismissively, “Don’t take my wives or me for tyrants. Bibi Dong will take good care of you.”
The grey-haired woman notices everyone behind Ja Sun sporting amused smirks as Bibi Dong shakes her head, muttering for everyone to hear, “Well, I would have enjoyed the process of conquering the Island a little more than just managing it, but it shouldn’t be hard whip them all up for good uses.”
And recalling her earlier demonstration against two Godly enemies, even if using deceit, makes the other men and women gulp.
“Why aren’t you the one heading the Empire after discrediting our God!” One of them, the strongest of the seven Guardians, thins his lips. His angular face twists with a hint of helpless anger as he stares at Ja Sun with equal part fear and hatred.
“I was wondering when you’d speak up,” Ja Sun snickers, half-shrugging. “But the answer to your question is simple. I don’t want to rule. You can liken me to your God, really. I just want others to praise me without putting in too much effort than necessary.”
“Our Sea God is nothing like you!” Snarks the boldly-built man.
“Well, you should be grateful then,” Ja Sun narrows his eyes, staring at the Titled Douluos with unconcealed greed and possessiveness. “Because I never give up what’s mine. And you—” His gaze turns pointedly sharp, carving into the Seven Titled Douluos, the Priestess, and the Shark Girl. “—are mine.”
“I’d pay to see that,” cuts in a charming giggle amidst the silence as Ja Sun looks back at the down-right bodacious mother of two with an ill-humored scoff. “Oh, you would, wouldn’t you, Lana? I almost forgot Xie Yue takes after his father. I hope your daughter, too, turns out as chill as her daddy.”—And that hurt Lana more than any vicious insult as the fox grits her teeth, snorting indignantly after picking a fight! But what could she do? She missed the asshole, like others!
“Any questions?” Ja Sun turns to the new group, adding before they can even speak. “Even if you do, I don’t really care. I’m just here to enjoy. You should enjoy the transition, too.”
Before Ja Sun leaves, Ja Sun comments one last time, “Oh, and don’t mind if I don’t know your names yet.” His eyes glint with unveiled amusement and sardonic glint as he pokes the group just for fun. “I’ll use my Priestess all night long to know everything about the island~!”
His words ruffle many feathers as the female Guardian snaps again—
“Please, let me replace our Priestess!”
“Looks like we found an even more perverted follower than you,” Bing Bing’s cold voice cuts in as the petite scorpion looks at the blushing Feng Liu.
“Can we leave?” Ah-Yin furrows her brows, “We’ll be living here, so you can have fun later, too. Or are you that scared of meeting our Xiao Liang?”
Ja Sun sighs deeply.
‘Ah, Ja Liang, Ja Liang. Sorry, your dad was busy with Divine shit to grant you a cool name like Stark or Johan.’
“Let’s go. Bye, you guys,” Ja Sun regards the group before beckoning Bo Saixi, even when the Seven Guardians and the Shark Woman uncomfortably shift where they stand.
As the group decides to walk on feet rather than warp around, they hear Ja Sun’s distant words, “I think we should also rename King’s Lair to Sage’s Lair.”
“Shouldn’t you give your wives a chance to name things after you named this Island?” Ah-Yin’s gentle voice cuts in, but her statements are rarely as soothing as her tone. “I say our name is Qishi Lair.”
“Someone needs to educate you about your naming sense.”
“Anyone willing to lose their manhood?” Ah-Yin inquires gently.
“What if we don’t have a manhood?” And, of course, Hu Lana will have such a question.
“Your dignity?”
“What if she doesn’t have that either?” Ja Sun cackles.
“Hey, that’s my wife!” Xie Xan comes to protection. “I will share with her some of my dignity!”
And a deathly silence ensues. In hindsight, Xie Xan might be a little more excited at Ja Sun’s return.
---
She has adopted her title for so long that she may as well forget her real name. Her peers either regard her as Sister or her title.
So, Sea Woman’s cheeks sting a little as she feels the group’s accusatory stare, making her scowl back viciously, for she is known to be a vicious woman toying with her opponents.
“I didn’t see any of you volunteering your asses for our Priestess, so if I hear one word about it, I will make it my life mission to drown you in humiliation!”
The other six hold their tongues before releasing sighs.
“We should accept the facts,” speaks one of them. All seven share similar complexions—pale and shaded, some of them even looking slightly ‘purple.’ Their hair color falls under a similar range of silver, blue, grey, pasty blonde, and other light tones.
“Ou Ya!” sounds the leader with a headdress of two horns jutting out of his skull. “What are you—”
“He is right,” Xiao Bai notes from the sidelines, earning her a glare from the seven’s leader as she shrugs, turning away as she drags her long gray hair past the damp grass on the ground, “This is the era of Gods. Unless we are one, we need to readjust our priorities.”
“The Sea God granted your species a breath of life!”—Snarls the Sea Dragon Douluo. “Is this how you repay his grace?”
“You would rather die for the grace of a God who gave up on us?” Bai looks back, questioning without an ounce of anger since she sounds more curious than anything else.
Her words catch the group by surprise. It is a discussion they have had for a while since they expected a similar result should Ja Sun survive the tribulation. But they hadn’t found an answer until now.
Observing his silence, Xiao Bai smiles with slight pain seeping into her gaze. “This Bai is not disloyal. But Loyalty is served to those who share their interest with ours. Would you point at a wife if she found another lover and call her unloyal if her husband willingly left her for another goal? Why wouldn’t the man take her away? Or at least talk it out with her? To placate her with the knowledge he will return for her?”
Xiao Bai looks away, muttering, “Or, more to the point, will you call a bunch of children unloyal if their father abandons them for a reason as petty as getting back at someone else?”
She looks at the bright blue sky without a speck of ice covering her view. Her words sound accusatory as she demands the sky instead.
“Are we unloyal? Or is it you who spat on our faces with your action?”
The other seven sink in uncomfortable silence as her words resound in their hearts, battling against their notions learned since their childhoods.
