Title: Violet’s Breakthrough

Another drop of sweat rolls down Violet’s cheeks, dripping from her chin as her massive serpentine body coils under her, staging her very ‘Peak’ female physique to greater heights as she lets the hot, humid, tropical environment beat down on her body under the noon sun and everyone else’s gazes! She didn’t want to invite others. She could feel herself completing the last bit of her ‘training’ schedule under her master. It involved enduring his killing intent alongside many other benefits. But that’s not all. Her training also involved hunting a spirit beast slightly stronger in cultivation daily! Ja Sun put it on hold during their voyage, but Violet was up and at ‘em the second their group settled on the Island.

Everyone—and that means ABSOLUTELY anyone—who has seen Violet fight has practically no desire to engage her in a 1V1 except for eager sparring partners like Erlong and Zi Ji.

Violet is her first and last disciple—his words. She feels thankful as such and guiltily—special. The Lamia’s serpentine half lowers herself as Violet gulps air greedily, nodding as she still reels from the sensation of Ja Sun’s killing intent.

“Hoh? She’s amazing,” Qian Daoliu muses with a tinge of amazement as Bo Saixi silently narrows her eyes. She definitely wasn’t here because Ja Sun held her ability to enter his Time Chamber hostage, strongarming her into witnessing his disciple’s growth. And she has to admit, of all the talk, she cannot easily endure such killing intent. Her emerald hues glance in Bibi Dong’s direction. ‘Hers either.’

The couple sports a complementary Rational-Irrational Killing Intent. While Violet learned how to endure one face of it, Bo Saixi doubts Violet can stand straight under his killing intent for more than a minute.

“So?” Everyone hears Ja Sun, his words making them feel speechless. “How does death feel like?”

Violet squeezes a smile, sheepishly chuckling as she refrains her urge to hug Ja Sun. After all, Ja Sun promised to fulfill one wish of hers! And she really wanted to smother her Master in her embrace!

“It doesn’t feel like anything now,” Violet responds as Ja Sun laughs. That’s one of the ways to endure his killing intent—to accept death. How one does it their own outlook as Violet accepted it as ‘void’ and Ja Sun, under his previous master’s teachings, accepted it as ‘peace.’

“Great. And you’re already holding back your breakthrough. Let’s get this ball rolling. I don’t know what your evolution will look like due to your mutation, but it’s bound to shake a few foundational rules~!” And for that, he is excited!

Others, especially Zi Ji, keep staring at Violet with awe. They didn’t ‘witness’ his bloodlust, but who here didn’t feel it even once? Especially Erlong, who got the first taste of it in this world! But they couldn’t imagine Violet enduring it.

‘To think cow-tits Lamia would actually do it,’ Ja Yin blinks speechlessly. A strange fire burns in her heart. She was at the cusp of breaking into her next evolution, too. ‘Hoho~!’ Ja Sun chuckles as he observes everyone’s reactions. Even Yuehua returned from her family home. And he can see the light of training burning in everyone’s heart, including the recently ‘enlightened’ Rabbit mother-daughter duo! That’s why he wanted everyone in the same spot to witness Violet’s achievement. The only one who didn’t seem to care much about it was Gu Yuena, but Ja Sun couldn’t do much about it. The ‘Fallen’ Divine Beast can endure his killing intent longer than anyone present, but does that matter? She got her ass handed to her Bibi Dong due to her carelessness!

‘Now everyone should train seriously for a few months at least,’ Ja Sun shrugs internally. ‘That should give me enough time with Liang’er~! And Bibi Dong’s already in her second trimester due to spending a modest period of time inside the Hypertonic Lion Tamer despite only one month passing in the real world. His plan is simple—to wait out thirsty beasts around him until the babymaking array is complete, pop his daughter out from Bibi Dong using a portal once she is ready to give birth, and spend as much time as possible with Liang’er since he believes his health will take a dip after the women around him suck him for all he’s worth and merging with Yuena as his third Martial Soul!

‘Sorry little one,’ Sun casts a discreet glance at Violet. ‘It includes you, too. So, I hope you quickly enter your breakthrough.’

Because he feels his urges rouse at the sight of Violet’s—how should he call them ‘delicately’—petrifying-certified TITS!

He didn’t need to be delicate at all!

Xiao Wu couldn’t help but want to meet with her ‘pals’ after seeing how satisfied Yuehua was during her month-long trip to see her nephew. She wanted to make sure Er Ming and Da Ming were happy but didn’t have the heart to spend an entire month in King’s Lair when all the action occurred on Sage God’s Island!

Two men smile cheerfully, almost hugging Xiao Wu in excitement as she sticks her tongue out, groaning at the literal bear hugs. A muscular, dark-skinned man with long brown hair tied in a ponytail and two tufts of beard growing out of his sideburns hugs the lankier, horned man and Wu at once, squeezing them until hearing their joints pop.

“How are you?!” Er Ming, the Titan Giant Ape, yelps and whoops joyfully—literally—hopping slightly, still holding two of his other ‘siblings’ as they groan further, more out of emotional discomfort than physical.

“Wait?” Er Ming lets go of the duo, questioning, “How did you get here? Where’s Aunt Bei?” Xiao Wu winks, showing a victory sign she learned from Ja Sun. “Brother Sun brought me here! He wanted Liang’er to meet his other subjects. And look at this~!” She chimes further, pointing at the ring around her ring finger. “I brought gifts.”

The two Spirit Beasts look at each other before swallowing the bitter pills in their hearts. Well, all the secret competition the two had to see who would have the rightful claim to court Wu ended a waste! Neither of them wanted to risk their relationship with Wu AND their lives by challenging Ja Sun since they could practically ‘smell’ the man on their sister.

“Gifts?” Da Ming breaks the silence with a smile, shrugging. “We told you before, right? Flower necklaces and headbands don’t suit us.”

“Not those, silly,” Xiao Wu trills, “I managed to convince Brother Sun to lend me two spirit cores of his latest hunts. One was a Tyrant Crab which should benefit Brother Da Ming, and the other was a dolphin’s partner, a Vajra Fish. I just knew it would suit Brother Er Ming.”

The two Spirit Beasts fall silent before Da Ming shakes his head, more than decent enough to refuse such precious gifts. “We can’t accept this, Little Wu. They’re too precious.”

Xiao Wu blinks before nodding, “They are. That’s why Brother Sun ‘lent’ these to me. Oh, well, the klutzy me actually gifted these to you! How Brother Sun would get mad and punish Little Wu!”

Er Ming and Da Ming pale slightly.

Did she hit her head or something?!

Why would she look forward to a punishment?!

But it also shakes the foundation of their emotions!

Little Wu is willing to go to such lengths just to see her brothers progress—they feel partly ashamed and glad. While the duo admits their affection for Wu once transcended the limits of siblings, they now find themselves falling for Wu harder, but not in the same way as before.

“Just take them and be quick to absorb them!” Wu giggles, pushing the cores into Da Ming’s hands. “Just keep a lookout when one absorbs it. While I’m gifting it, Brother Sun won’t bat an eyelash if you guys lose such precious treasures due to natural selection!”

Da Ming carefully tucks the two cores in his robes. His expression betrays his reluctance as he whispers, “Little Wu, we won’t ever forget such favor. I-if things get too hard, just call us! We will beg the Beast God to go easy on you.”

“Yeah!” Er Ming nods solemnly.

Xiao Wu stares at them quietly before wondering to herself.

‘Why would I want Sun to go easy on me? He knows why I ‘begged’ in my way for those cores. Hehe~ anyway! This way Brother Da and Er progress further while Sun will have all the reason to swiftly administer his ‘anger’ upon me~!’

“So this is little master,” a ‘brilliant’ beast admires the young boy in Ja Sun’s embrace as the child’s vibrant gaze sweeps over the small group of colorful beasts.

“Little Master?” Ja Sun scoffs a chuckle. “Nothing like that. Titles aren’t birthright in my household but earned, something Yin and Dong agree on.”

“As a Goblin,” comments the Golden Goblin with all the subtlety of a giant Hippo. “He doesn’t stand a chance to some of my young ones. But I suppose I can see why humans consider infants cute.”

“Those exact words almost made Lana fight you,” Ja Sun rolls his eyes at the Golden Goblin, recalling the beast’s standards when he woos a woman in his human form. Man, those women were large! Ja Sun had admired Golden Goblin’s talent in locating such round women in a culture where one naturally retains most of their natural shape due to cultivation!

*Grrrgh*

Another beast growls, “Is that why you summoned us, Beast God? To show your spawn? A notification on the matter is appreciated next time. Mine mate finally birthed a spawn!” Others quickly start congratulating the Sky Tiger.

‘These guys are hopeless. No wonder I beat the shit out of everyone when I arrived here,’ Ja Sun clicks his tongue, more speechless than annoyed by their attitude. His expectant ass expected a group of hawing beasts!

Their GOD had a kid!

Now Ja Sun knows to temper his expectations.

“While you’re here, Beast God,” another beast attracts Ja Sun’s attention. “Do you know where Di Tian is? He disappeared the day when that beast left the lake.”

Ja Sun shrugs, “Who knows? I don’t keep track of everyone, you know. Maybe he left the planet? He has wings, right?”

The other beasts look at each other seriously before one of them demands. “Please enlighten us. What’s a planet?”

Ja Sun works his jaw before sighing to himself.

“I’m leaving.”
