Title: Strange Happenings

“Hnngh,” Ja Sun moans weakly, unable to get used to the sensation of weakness despite his wild ardor for pain. In the end, the two are not the same. The sense of loss deep within him is peculiarly disturbing. Ja Sun isn’t used to dealing in fair trade. Yes, getting more ‘Power’ in exchange for his life was an absolute loss! If only he could find a way to scam Heaven. Others would falter at the thought, but Ja Sun is happy to wait until he completes his quest before moving on to more intriguing challenges. Fortunately, someone ‘close’ to him happily distracts him in these trying times.

Ja Sun doesn’t even know HOW it started. All he remembers is feeling a moderately boosted connection with the elements—since his Martial Soul isn’t any less in terms of quality—and intense longing. Yuena kept it off her expression and body language with admirable tenacity, but Ja Sun felt it all the same. The feeling of loss that has him annoyed in but a few days ailed the dragon for who knows how long. She, her ‘True’ self, stood atop the very peak! Yuena knows what that power feels like. And the loss of that dominion is one thing. She was torn out, incomplete.

For Ja Sun, it’s like going through ALL the pain in the world without earning a dime—an instance that will see him tearing his hair out in anger or learning the Law of Control to calm himself if he didn’t already become a master in it.

It was the last straw, perhaps. Finding herself so exposed, unaware the array would lead to such results, Yuena lets go of her final reservation before delving into what she senses from him.

It was a fair trade under Heaven’s presence, their ‘sensations’ forced upon each other—a loss to the couple and probably a win for Heaven IF Heaven’s Intent has any emotional spectrum.

So Ja Sun rests while everyone trains. Oh, he MUST rest. He ‘looked’ positively haggard after consuming Yuena, where he may have slipped into darkness. But that didn’t matter. It was supposed to be a show of weakness to lure Xunji IF he was lurking around with the intent to strike at Ja Sun’s weakest moment. But even after Yin healed her, she was adamant about keeping him in the bed. Hmm. Was she mad? It can’t possibly be something he did. It didn’t matter in the end.

His rest became a venture promising just as much exhaustion, if not more, with a stunning ‘creature’ straddling his waist, rubbing her damp crotch over his eager erection. Her full lips press into his,’ her tongue more than willing to take it up a notch and swap spit with him in his mouth. One hand brushes into his hair as the other drags its nails down his slightly trimmed chest. Sure, he lost a bit of muscle, but all these are temporary changes. What he truly lost is his lifespan. He’s officially on a timer.

But the woman atop him doesn’t let him focus on his plans. She can sense his thoughts wavering and wandering, making her bite his bottom lip to demand all his ‘mortal’ attention. His hands give her naked ass a firm squeeze.

Yuena blinks as she pulls up from Ja Sun to find Bibi Dong entering the bedroom with a neutral look on her face. “I’ve got a question.”

“Shoot,” Ja Sun replies without bothering with any decency as Yuena’s shoulder scrunchs the second she feels Bibi’s gaze linger. “How important are those five Sea Overlords from before? I’m devising a few plans, but some of these may sacrifice those five beasts.”

Ja Sun blinks, recalling the five creatures who requested him to hunt the Devilgod Tiger. “Their survival is preferable,” he nods. “But if they DO die, ensure the retrieval of their Spirit Bones if retrieving the entire corpse is too much of a hassle.”

Bibi Dong nods with a smile. “And does she know?”

Ja Sun thins his lips before shaking his head.

“Do I know—what?” Yuena frowns as Bibi Dong hums softly, leading her steps to their wardrobe before sliding it open.”

Yuena gapes as she finds a tied, blindfolded, and GUSHING Feng Liu.

“I can take her away,” Bibi Dong offers. “But unlike Ja Sun, I keep my ‘Pet’ around when we make love.”

Feng Liu moans against the ball gag when Bibi calls her a pet.

Yuena’s gaze shifts between Ja Sun and Bibi Dong before she questions the former. “Why didn’t you tell me before?” She didn’t know of it since his arrays block many intents to give others their privacy.

“Emotional comfort?” Ja Sun smiles. “Besides, I’m the kind of guy to live and let live. I won’t interrupt others getting their jollies if it doesn’t affect me.”

“Huh,” Yuena mutters before giving Bibi Dong a challenging look before directly lowering herself to Ja Sun’s erect cock.

‘Who do you think I am? Erlong?’ Bibi Dong rolls her eyes, sighing. She admits she wanted to screw with Yuena a little by revealing Feng Liu. Sadly, it failed. But she closes the wardrobe on Feng Liu before bidding the couple farewell, “I’ll stop by later. You two better be decent since Liang’er and Hai’er will be with me.”

“Take care~!” Ja Sun waves back.

Something pinches his waist as he blinks and glances at Yuena, questioning her despite his urge to blow a fat load in her moist snatch. “Did you pinch me?”

“My hands never left your chest,” Yuena replies. “But I did see you taking your time leering at your wife’s breasts.”

Ja Sun thins his lips. He is a spatial grandmaster! He fucking felt the space twist around his skin just enough to feel like a pinch! “Why wouldn’t I appreciate my wife?”

“You were thinking about what’s in them, weren’t you?”

“Maybe.”

Yuena narrows her eyes before sneering. “Oh, I’m sorry you didn’t get to breed another woman for your tastebuds.”

“Don’t be,” Ja Sun smirks. “Remember? You’re still a living organism despite being a martial soul. We can always start with you.”

“You lovers will take quite the offense.”

“All I hear is a chicken backing out,” he thrusts into her, prompting Yuena to press harder on his chest. “Hmm?” He moves slowly, simulating her sweet spot with his veiny shaft as she levels her gaze with his. “Such childish tactics don’t work on me,” Yuena allows a smile, gyrating her hips and clamping on his fat cock. “And you wouldn’t desire a mother as calculative or cruel as me, would you?”

“Bibi Dong is more calculative and Yin is crueller. What the hell are you on about?” Ja Sun blanks out. If she’s trying to get him harder, it works, as his cock reaches an all-time hardest bulge inside her. Her face slightly flushes as Yuena feels his throbbing member knocking where he shouldn’t.

“I’m the one True Dragon now,” she leans down, a curtain of silver hair separating them from outside as her purple gaze bears into his deep-green one.

“Then you MUST be rowdier than Zi Ji and Erlong.” Ja Sun shrugs. “But I’m not getting that from you.”

“Do you always compare nobles to harlots?”

“I wouldn’t call you a harlot,” Ja Sun frowns. “But with enough teaching under Yuehua, you can act like a noble.”

Yuena rolls her eyes as she starts slamming herself atop him. Her breathing paces into rapid heaves as she climaxes on his cock, drenching their bed in her divine sap. “I-If I didn’t know any better,” she gasps. “I would wonder if you truly exchanged your lifespan to accommodate me. Do you ever go down?”

“Do you want me to?”

She scoffs. It’s becoming increasingly more challenging to one-up Ja Sun in arguments. Maybe she should stop indulging in her wanton lust rekindled by coupling with the man. All those orgasms are eating away at her calm!

“Out with it,” Qian Xunji drawls while staring at a non-descript mirror. For his daughter’s education, the man deigned to remodel his preferred dungeon to something more inviting with intuitive chandeliers, fragrant spirit wood flooring, toys, and much more. He even commissioned couches and sofas instead of living on mats.

Dai Taiyin crosses his arms, cocking his head sideway while observing the remodeled decor. “It’s nothing, Blood God.”

The former Prince/Emperor’s sarcasm in his address to Xunji doesn’t fly by Blood God’s and his loyal followers’ heads, some of whom accompany the duo in the living room.

“You will watch your tone!” Yue Guan hisses softly. The purposefully tight blood-red robes around Chrysanthemum Douluo display ‘her’ womanly curves. Others might find the thought of Xunji finally remodeling Yue Guan’s flesh into that of a woman, but Dai Taiyin cared little about that. Guan always acted like a bitch. It’s nice to see the exterior matching the interior for once. “My tone is the last thing Blood God should worry about. Besides, he is a father. If he cannot empathize with my impatience, he isn’t worth working for.”

Yue Guan clenches her fists as Xunji returns the mirror to his storage ring before looking at Taiyin. “Out with it.”

“Why did you not attack when Ja Sun was incapacitated?” Taiyin narrows his eyes. “Don’t misinterpret my intentions. I’ve come to respect Ja Sun a lot. But that respect wanes compared to mine and my wife’s need to reunite with our sons. I think I sound like a broken record here. Or did everyone else forget my task was only to bring the continent’s central ruling party to its knees?”

“For which you received appropriate rewards,” Xunji sighs. “And it’s not hard to understand why anyone with a speck of a brain will refrain from attacking Ja Sun without proper preparations—an array no less powerful than a peak mortal weapon defends his land. And I don’t possess a Divine Weapon.”

He moves past the fireplace and towers above Taiyin. “It is true that you and your wife’s talents are underutilized. You were the light in inciting a false rebellion, while your wife was the shadow that carried assassinations to cripple the Royal Family of the Continent. Let me ask you a question,” Xunji smiles. “Would you like a similar opportunity as Yu Xiaogang? You must have noticed the lack of his presence these days. He is in a stage where he will either emerge as a perfect weapon or a broken and torn slab of corpse.”

“An Inheritance,” Taiyin instantly asserts. “You found two?”

“I found seven,” Xunji smiles. “For some reason unknown to our era, this planet attracted several divine’s attention. I offer you and your wife the first pick. Know this—my intervention will have other God’s remaining intents act aggressively against you couple. Will you still like it?”

Taiyin sighs before shaking his head. “Ning’er and I already have our sets of spirit bones complete, thanks to our espionage career under your authority. But Blood God, not everyone desires power beyond the realms. Through the years and my altercations with the Clan’s ‘Guardian’ Spirit, I’ve learned that since there will always be a taller mountain beyond our peak, WE decide what’s the peak instead of our ambitions rule us.”

“Lord!” Yue Guan shrills. “Let me skin him and—”

“Be quiet,” Xunji commands. “It is astounding how a ‘cub’ is wiser than esteemed ‘Elders.’ Very well, I respect your wish to end your path to power. The only difference between a God and a Human by their very nature is said power. You served me well. I intended for you to continue such services, but—”

Xunji’s eyes widen in surprise. It’s strange. He figured not many things could surprise him. But his hand decapitating Taiyin’s head shook him. Why did he attack Taiyin? As Xunji spoke, he intended to let the couple enjoy their retreat until he ended Ja Sun. It would take time, but he won’t let the couple go in fear of exposing his location.

How did his body act without his permission?!

Everyone grows silent as blood gushes from Taiyin’s torn neck, and his body collapses on the couch.

Xunji stares at the foul hand while whispering, “Leave. Kill Zhu Ning and bring her corpse to me. In respect for their exemplary service, I shall brook no torture upon that woman.”

Even if Xunji does not look at them, they find themselves in a globe of viscous blood with two celestial eyes glaring. They did not doubt the tortures they would endure should they go against Xunji’s command. But even then, Yue Guan feels gleeful at the surprising demise of the Feline couple.

As they filter out, Xunji stares at his hand while retrieving his mirror.

“Something is wrong,” he stares at himself. He is forgetting something important. He remembers everything from consuming Redstar to letting the latter induce a tribulation before consuming him and ascending as the Blood God, cleaving past the limits of his bloodline and freeing his descendants and father of said shackles all the same.

But why does it feel like he is forgetting something?

Why did his body act?

It’s a warning.

His body remembers something HE doesn’t. It’s lashing out to warn him. Xunji’s body wants him to remember something, and it will act out as much as it can until Xunji recollects what’s lost to him.

He frowns while staring at Taiyin’s corpse.

“I thank you, Lord Dai Taiyin,” he solemnly whispers. “You taught me the other difference between a mortal and a God. A mortal closes his eyes and looks away from the next peak, assuming delusional control of his life. But a God continues to climb. A God realizes and hopes the climb will end someday, and when that day comes, they will have tasted everything of life and death.”

He snaps his fingers as Taiyin’s cold blood corrodes his body AND the Spirit Bones under Xunji’s control before a small red jewel floats not far from Xunji’s eyes. “And I also realized now that my divine weapon’s loss will only hinder me for so long.” He takes the blood-red jewel in his hands. “A Divine Weapon needs resources and a tribulation, no? Being a Beast-Type Martial Soul, my Divine Weapon formed due to two entities fused into one, leaving an excess of ‘Martial Soul.’” He narrows his eyes, “But I need to regain my God Tablet somehow.”

He looks at the mirror again.

“And understand what is going on.”
