Nik sleeps for hours. No nightmares, no visions of regret, and nothing else. Just utter quiet, calm, and peace—

“But Elder Sister does!” he resists.

“Don’t make me take off this slipper because I will!”

Nik managed to capture every voice above a certain decibel. He rolls and twists around before sitting up on his bed. A loud yawn escapes his lips as he scratches his jaw, noting a stubble forming—again.

No, he’s not annoyed—not about his swift hair growth and the chaos around the two manors.

Toph is today’s training ‘subject’ for some Kyoshi Warriors as Suki allows the mothers and the Ty Sisters some deserved breaks. However, the same cannot be said for Jin. Poor Jin. Oh, well. Nik loves spoiling Jin, so he’s glad there’s someone present to maintain the balance.

Meanwhile, Toph acts as the Melon Lord, her persona from the animated cartoons, some of which is already seen by the group during the stay as June safeguards the hentai Pendrive. It’s correct to assume that studies aren’t in his mind. Then there’s Azula. Nik wishes he could find her a dragon egg. However, it’s also cathartic for others to see Azula in the passive, thanks to Ignit.

While Sokka and Zuko found residences inside the village, they often stopped by. After all, they are literally a few minutes’ walk away. Their mothers would unleash hell on the duo if they didn’t show their faces and assess if they ate right every other day.

It’s chaos, Nik concludes while rubbing the familiar Water Tribe concoction on his face to deal with his facial and body hair. His other hand multitasks by brushing his teeth. Even if Chaotic, a calm smile appears on his face.

He loves it. It feels so peaceful knowing that he can provide for his family.

So he doesn’t feel angry to be woken up by his heightened sense. No. He wants this.

‘Let’s make a to-do list,’ Nik understands the need to deal with the after-effects of the battle. There is another reason why everyone is near or inside the manor except Yue, who’s in the village, calming others down with Rena and Poppy.

Nik steps out of the bath and changes his clothes before being located by Katara and Sokka in the kitchen.

“See?” Sokka smugly smirks. “I told you the first thing Nik will look for is food. Here, buddy. Sit. I prepared your favorite.” Sokka’s a deceptively accomplished cook. However, he hadn’t actually cooked anything. Instead, Sokka helps Nik sit beside Katara before pouring him a bowl of Sky Bison milk and flakes of Crusted Mango—one of Nik’s ABSOLUTE favorites!

“Thanks,” Nik beams before digging in. Katara glances at him, surprised. Meanwhile, Sokka calls others.

“You look different,” Katara smiles. “I’m glad.”

“Hmm,” Nik munches and nods. “I’m glad, too. Sorry for worrying you guys. The news of Mitsuko getting pregnant hit me harder than I ever expected.” It’s true. Nik never bothered with doing wrong until reading Mitsuko’s note. Before that, he was neutral about things. That’s when the triplets begin haunting him, too. Despite what he said, Nik, deep down, feared being a disgusting parent like Esta and Cesta.

After all, Esta would be the kind of person to harm and torture innocents. Meanwhile, Cesta lies to herself and deludes everyone around her, including Nik—once. But now?

All of it is gone.

“So,” Katara pours more milk for Nik once he notices the slightly empty bowl. “Was it a tough fight?” There’s something left unsaid in her gaze. Noticing that Nik quietly ponders before nodding truthfully. Most of it was easy. But the fight with the speck of a Deity was another form of extreme.

So, it went from one extreme to another.

“I wish we could have helped you,” Katara mutters as the room goes silent.

“I know it might not mean much,” Nik smiles. “I mostly survived due to my skills. But you guys were the most significant encouragement for me. I promise you, Katara. You are helping me.”

She smirks mischievously, her eyes twinkling like Sokka when he sees a cool weapon. “Relax~!” She hugs him from the side, her comforting scent washing over him. “I’m not distressed. Besides, the way of Waterbending isn’t to seek conflicts but to go with the flow. I’m happy to assist in any way you want.”

“But?” Nik smirks as he feels a ‘but’ ready.

“But,” Katara giggles. “I was hoping…” she traces her choker, “... that you would make your wife fear after your well-being than your fiancee.”

Nik raises an eyebrow before nodding. “Of course. I also found the perfect decorator to help me set the location.”

“What?!” Katara blinks.

“Yeah, but I was hoping to…” Nik cozily whispers a few things in her ears as she rolls her eyes.

“You’re a greedy pervert, Plunderer!”

“I am, aren’t I?” Nik shrugs. “And people in Aang’s world thought I was a hero. Tsk, tsk.”

“Hmph,” she snorts. “Well, do it quickly. I don’t mind helping if it means we can get married quicker.”

Nik smirks but doesn’t accept her offer as others start filtering into the room.

Not shy about anything, Nik reveals how he killed two hosts and explains his [Twilight Thief.] The cat’s already out of the bag. So, Nik would rather others hear about this from him than, say, Revy.

‘I forgot Revy outside. No wonder I didn’t hear any gunshots. Ah, fuck…’

Putting that out of his mind, Nik placated everybody’s doubts about his skill, including when, how, and the motivations to get it. Others accepted Nik’s explanation, understanding that Nik wished for this skill to smoothen his life in other worlds and not to abuse anyone’s trust. After all, there are several things he could have used the [Twilight Thief] on, including making the girls go onboard with a harem.

But he never did. It’s a feeling Sokka and Zuko resonated with since they wouldn’t want to control their lovers, too.

Nik’s Scar of Infinity is a dome-protected Mango Grove. It’s large enough to fit a few villages and thousands of people. As things are, his Scar of Infinity is magnificently underused. It’s not due to a lack of effort. The civilization in his Personal World IS steadily improving. However, as Yue and others express, it’s better to move with a plan than to do things first and consider the impact of their actions later.

What can be grown inside his Scar of Infinity? Till what stage of advancement can Nik put others through? How can they divide the workforce to develop a self-sustained economy? How will they deal with a possible influx of people and sentient creatures like Air Bisons or the eggs of the likes of Elephant Koi? Such questions need a sophisticated train of thought, something Nik’s lack of experience suffers from.

He has enough data on these topics through the continuous accumulation of the Limitless Library. However, it’s not something as simple as experimenting.

So, Nik admits he feels slightly frustrated at the sight of two MORE dome-shaped regions around his Scar of Infinity. The sweeping grassland is replaced by a dark-soiled land with fertile crops and a chilly, arctic-like region.

Upon further observation, Nik notes the dark-soiled region is larger than Nik’s and the Arctic region combined!

Duck-Tape’s and GOTY-13’s Scars of Infinity!

Unlike Nik’s expectations, these Scars don’t mix with Nik’s world until he explicitly allows them to. Digging up Infinity’s knowledge base, Nik realizes there’s a specific function for these Scars—

Currency.

Additional, unfused Scars of Infinity can be traded!

He can also enter these worlds at a thought or shift their locations from one point to another as long as they are in contact with the perimeter of his Scar of Infinity.

The sudden appearance of the two worlds has quite the fright to the people inside Nik. But Nik only feels awe-struck.

How much developed Scars of Infinity do the likes of Lava-Head and Accu-mulet have, Nik wonders. After all, Duck-Tape’s Scar of Infinity is already thrice the size of Nik’s basic one. It seems to have dark soil nearing deep grey and fertile, lush crops. Nik can also see a few buildings despite the distance.

Meanwhile, GOTY-13’s Arctic World is less developed than Nik’s. There are a few structures. However, they feel…

Well, unkempt.

Nik momentarily muses before touching the wall of light that keeps one world from another. As Ray explained, his Scar of Infinity will fuse and change the structure of the land and its quality the second they meld. So, Nik is cautious in doing so.

What if fusing with the Arctic Land ruins the Dragon and Spirit Spring?

What if fusing with the dark-grey-soiled land irreparably destroys the current habitat of Nik’s world?

With a thought, he passes the light wall and enters Duck-Tape’s Scar of Infinity.

Nik looks around, noticing the change in breath. However, it still feels familiar. As already explained, the Scar of Infinity accommodates every power system. So, the quality of Nik’s surroundings barely suffers any difference.

Nik crouches and feels the grey dirt. Though massive, Duck-Tape did not harbor a group of living beings in his Scar of Infinity except for some plants.

As Nik moves, he starts suspecting the crops on Duck-Tape’s land are actually gifted to him alongside his land, like Nik’s Mango Groves. Though several, the plantations feel untouched by any external factor.

‘Duck-Tape must have fused with a few other Scars before he’s left with these crops. So, these crops are the most optimal for this world, like my Mango Trees,’ Nik gazes at the delicate plant. The lush wheat crops look like a golden glaze upon this dark grey soil. Nik feels the crops before smiling. He sniffs deeply, letting the earthen scent wash over him.

Not all of Duck-Tape’s land is covered by these more than beautiful wheat crops. Instead, there are several plain patches of land. Though dreary, Nik admits this grey-gold world is charming.

Nik performs a Seismic Sense, wondering if the underground regions have anything valuable. Unfortunately, like Nik’s Scar of Infinity, there isn’t anything crucial inside it. Of course, by that, Nik isn’t talking about precious stones. Instead, he’s implying sources of fuel.

After all… sources of energy are more precious than stones in a Developing Economy.

‘Let’s go,’ Nik soon appears beside a concrete building. Unlike Nik’s and Ty Sister’s Manors, the building looks undecorated and less maintained. Nik closes his eyes as he uses Seismic Senses again on the building before walking up the open hall on the ground floor. There—Nik finds several individuals ‘sleeping’ on the floor, recklessly strewn over.

‘Woah,’ Nik gapes. ‘This many?’

Nik walks over to a scuffed black-haired man in a black suit. He’s an attractive specimen and seems to have gone through a lot if one considers the perfect scowl on his face.

‘Yep, this is John Wick,’ Nik blinks. He saw the man’s picture in Sofia’s detail. Apparently, he disappeared after killing off a gang to avenge his pet dog.

As Nik looks around, he locates several other unconscious figures.

Dutch, Benny, Chang, Eda, Garcia, and more.

Nik observes those from Ronapur before turning his attention to the last three individuals.

One of them is in casual clothes. The other two are in suits.

‘Hmm,’ Nik frowns. ‘I’ve seen them.’ This time, his knowledge comes from Irina’s list of assassins to tackle Koro.

‘This one is Ladybug, and these two are Lemon and Tangerine. Huh. I didn’t know they were depicted in any media.’

‘Wisdom accumulates after experiences,’ Nik recites, calming his mind. ‘My inner Iroh has now realized plunder is the way to go.’ His expression turns sage-like. ‘I shall plunder my opponents off their women, wealth, and dignity. After all, plundering has 0 investment and 100% profits!’

Nik wipes the drool off his mouth.
